Days went by...Then weeks. And everything was just...basic. It's Christmas break. Our first Christmas without ANY of our parents. Addison says not to think about it. She says that she will be taking mom's spot this year and the next year, and the next few years. Our cousin, Autumn is staying in town for the next week. I haven't really seen her that much since she was born. Only at a family reunion we had a few year's back, one of our grandparents's birthdays, and of course, my mom's funeral. She is the same age as me, so you would think we would be really close, but nope. I don't know what her deal is and why she is staying in town, but, I hope I can see her. I eventually forgave Jason. We aren't really dating anymore, though. I don't really know what we are. Then I hear a knock on my door, it's Ivy. "Hey, thought you could use a friend." she says as she enters my room. "So, what magic tricks are you showing me today?" I ask. "This new one Pops taught me. It's super cool. But, I need a vase." she says. "Oh, hold on." I say. I grab a vase under the bathroom cabinet. "Here." Ivy closes her eyes. "Crescere." she says. And to my amazement, flowers grow out of the once empty vase. "For you." she says. We both laugh. "This is so cool, Ivy!" I say. "I know right! I can show you one more. Don't freak out." Ivy stands up. "Invisiqoi" She says. And Ivy disappears. I laugh. "Oh my gosh, Ivy! This is so cool!" "visibilis" she says, and suddenly becomes visible. "Hey, I've been wanting to ask you, are you going to the Winter festival later today?" Ivy asks. "Oh uh, I don't know." I respond. "You should go. Caroline will be there helping her mom decorate the tree, you know her, and so will I! But, I haven't asked Alexa yet." she says. "By the way, have you talked to her lately?" Ivy asks. "Uh not since a few weeks ago." I lie. I still haven't told Ivy about what happened a few months ago. I haven't told anybody. "Look, I have to go somewhere, um, I will think about going to the festival today." I lie. "Okay, bye!" she says and then leaves. I sigh. Then, I get a phone call. It's Jason. "Hello?" I answer. "Hey, It's Jason. I was wondering if you were going to the winter festival today?" he asks. "Um, I was thinking about it, why?" "I was wondering if you would like to go together?" he asks. "Jason, are you sure?" "Why wouldn't I be?" "Okay then, I would love to." "Great, I will pick you up. "Okay, bye." I hang up. Well I guess that means I am going. Later that night, I start getting ready. The Winter festival isn't anything you dress up for. Of course it's Winter, and in South Carolina, it snows. So you have to make sure you are in coats and everything like that. I walk downstairs waiting for Jason. And that's when I hear a noise. Not like pots banging, or glass shattering. Like a crash. So I call Jason. "Hello there? This is Jason's phone." It's Sam. "Hey, where's Jason?" I ask. "He left to go to your house a few minutes ago." I sigh in relief. It's just Jason. "Okay thanks, bye." I hang up. Suddenly, I turn around and there, right behind me, someone stands. And it's not Jason. "Who are you?" I ask. All of the sudden, I get thrown against the stairs. The guy then picks me up and starts to bite my neck. I scream. Then, all of the sudden, Jason is there. He picks up the guy and pulls out his heart. I don't exactly know what just happened. I hold my neck in awe. One minute I am talking to Sam, then another, I am being thrown against a staircase and having my neck torn into. Then, Jason kills the guy. Well one things for sure, he was a vampire. And another person added onto the list. The list of all deaths in Blythewood. The list just keeps on growing.
