Spellbound

There's No Place Like Home

     My whole world suddenly flashed before my eyes, everything I knew--Or, thought I knew was all just one big blur. Not only am I trapped in some impenetrable cell, but I am stuck in one next to my boyfriend, who apparently is a vampire. Then suddenly, the door opened, and something that I never thought would happen, happened.

-12 hours earlier-

 "So in 1990, you and Jason were in a fight, and me being me, broke it up, because I'm just that great, yet somehow, that made you get even more mad. So, you made this big deal, and said, "I never want to see you two again!" and went from eating food in a mansion to dining in on Thursday nights at grill, that I'm pretty sure barely passed it's health inspection. Only to have our brother, that we now have to save from the clutches of evil, join you in this small town that you too just happened to both choose to reside in." Sam says as he is driving. "Oh, and what exactly have you been doing for the last 20 years?" Alexa asks.  "Fighting crime, traveling to exotic places, enjoying my freedom from you two idiots." Sam replies with a smile. "And how's that going for ya?" Alexa asks. "Just fine, until my idiot of a brother decided to come back to the one place we all said goodbye to in 1882. Which as it turns out, my little sister is just as much of an idiot as he is. Well would you look at that, I'm surrounded by idiots." "So, you didn't come back because you thought someone else might be back, too?" Alexa asks. Sam glares at Alexa. "How about you shut up, before I do it for you." Sam hits the gas.                                                                                                      

-Meanwhile....- "Isla, I know a million things must be going through your head right now, but, I need you to calm down and remember who the enemy is." Jason says. "Calm down?! You want me to calm down? You feed on people, all of those bodies, all that time, it was you?!" Isla says obviously freaked out. "No, that was Sam. I've been using blood bags." "B-but, you can walk in the sun." "We have daylight rings that protect us." "A-and what about garlic? You have it in your kitchen!" "That's just a myth." "Isla, please, you can't tell anyone! It's bad enough that we have the police already on us." "So now I am in the middle of something I didn't even know about to begin with. I just found out my boyfriend feeds on people, and now, I have to lie to people, to the police?!" "Isla, please. Just for now, you can decide what you want to do, tell, or don't. But please, trust me." 

"Here it is." Sam says.  "Talk about old. And isolated." Alexa says. "It's the perfect place." Sam says. "What are we doing just standing here, are we gonna go in or what?" Alexa asks. Sam and Alexa are looking at an old barn 10 miles outside of Mississippi. "Well you can go in, but you are going to get yourself killed. There has to be at least 6 guards outside of that door and some big guy waiting for us to walk right in, but if you wanna walk in all Terminator and go all rogue, please, don't let me stop you." "What did you have in mind?" Alexa asks. "First, we have to think of a plan. I will bite your neck, and you will go in screaming all, Buffy the Vampire, then when there are just a few guards, I will use my Sam charm, and bite off a few heads, and save the day." Sam then bites Alexa's neck and the plan begins. "Ahh, please, there was, a guy, he bit me, please help!" Alexa screams to the guards. 4 of them follow her out. She brings them to the back. "Oh oops, my bad." Alexa then turns around kicks one them in the head, while snapping another's neck. She then sucks the blood out of the next, and snaps another's head. Meanwhile, Sam sneaks into the barn and snaps one of the guys's neck's and sucks the other's. He goes through a hall until he finds Jason and Isla's cell. "Sam!" They both yell. "What the hell are you doing here?!" Sam asks Isla in confusion. "Oh, nevermind, It's only a matter of time before they circle back." Sam manages to break Jason's cell open, and together, Jason and Sam break open Isla's. All three of them run out with Alexa right behind them. As quick as they can, the hop into Sam's car and drive off. "How did you find us?" Isla asks. "We had a witch do a locator spell for us." Sam replies. "Witch? Locator Spell?" Isla asks in confusion. "Did I say Witch? I meant to say-" "It's okay Sam, I told her, she knows."
