"Well if you are her granddaughter, you must know a spell or two." Sam says. "Depends, what do you need?" She responds. "Well, my brother seems to be M.I.A at the moment, and I just so happen to need to find him." "So you're asking for a location spell?" "More or less." Sam says with a smile. "Seeing by the fact that you don't have anything with you, I am guessing you've never actually seen a location spell. In order for me to do the spell, I will need something of the person's by which I am locating. Perhaps jewelry or blood." "Right, well, like you said, we don't have anything. Is there perhaps a loophole?" "No, not for this particular spell." "Come on, every spell has a loophole." Alexa says. "Unless you have something of his, I cannot help you." "Come on, Sam, don't you have anything?" Alexa asks. "In case you haven't noticed, I haven't been in contact with Jason for the last ten years. What makes you think I kept his favorite toy." Sam says. "That's it!" Sam says. "What do you mean?" Alexa asks. "We are in the greatest magic shop in the world." "Yeah so?" "Which means, there has to be a spell for almost anything." Sam says. "Now hold on-" The lady says. "Sam turns to the lady. Is it possible to not so much has us give yo something, but, find something of his?" Sam asks. "Go into past occasions and pull out something of you brothers? I guess it would be possible, but that is tapping into dark magic, many consequences could be faced. It would cost you." "How much? I'm kinda loaded." Sam leans in to whisper. "Not money, pretty boy." She replies. "You would be messing with memories, the past would be changed. You would need to balance out the magic." "So what do we have to do? Find something to replace that object?" "More like someone." Sam gets confused. "What do you mean, someone?" "The object being taken will interfere with the whole memory. You would need to find someone else to take his spot in that memory. And to do that, you need to bring me someone he knows or knew back in that memory." "So you're saying, we need to find someone to take Jason's spot in that memory?" Alexa asks. "And once that is done, I will cast my spell, and the memory will be forever changed in your mind, and in everyone else's who was there. And for Jason, he won't have that memory anymore. "What will happen to that person?" Sam asks. "They will gain a memory, and possibly have many other side affects, memory loss, difficulty talking, or even have no memory at all." she says. "Well in that case, I think it would be easier for Alexa and I to go find something." Sam says. "Wise decision."She responds. "How are we going to find something of Jason's if you haven't talked to each other for the last 10 years?" Alexa asks Sam as they are walking out. "Well, I may not have seen my brother for a decade, but I know where he was. In the late 90's Jason lived in an apartment off of Bourbon Street. There must be something of his there." Sam says. "Why didn't we just go there from the beginning?" Alexa asks. "I just wanted to see what Ivy's daughter could do." Sam says. "Granddaughter. She's her granddaughter." Alexa says. "One thing to know about witches little sis, you can't always trust them. That wasn't my first time going to Ivy's magic shop, I went there in the 30's to try and stop Jason from killing a bunch of people. Ivy helped me. And her 5-year old daughter was also there, Virginia. That's who we were talking to in the shop just now." "Why didn't you confront her?" Alexa asks. "There was no point. Now, are we going to sit here playing "Nancy Drew", or are we going to find Jason?" Sam asks.
