‘Girls, I was meant to give you both a day off today but I do hope this is close enough because I have been very frazzled lately.
Now, I thought you girls might need a brake so I was thinking I might take you both to Waterslide Wetlands for Christmas, you would enjoy that right, I mean it is the weekend tomorrow...so?’
We both nodded.
‘Well let’s go there today, pack a bag get your swim suits on underneath, and pack a towel’
‘Thanks father’ we said at the same time running off to get ready.
Wow I am so excited, all my friends boast about going there over the summer and I have never been.
Apparently its one of the top ten waterparks in the world, and I am going to it!
‘Hurry girls, we want to get there as soon as it opens so there are no big queues!’ father said.
Haylee and I both walked out with our swimsuits underneath and towel over our shoulder. We hopped in the car and we were off to a one hour trip to the waterpark, but of course Haylee was rocking out to One Direction.
‘Corners!’ Haylee screamed in my ear leaning against me.
After one hour of Haylee’s screeching voice, we were finally at the waterslides.
By the view I could see, I could tell this day was going to be great. There were tall waterslides and low ones, curly ones and straight, long and short and my favourite, the dark ones.
We all walked to the entrance, and father was right getting here early made us third in line!
Father bought us our tickets and Haylee and I ran inside and put our bags on the grass.
‘Have fun girls!’ father called as we ran off.
‘Dark Palace Water Coaster’ I read off a large sign ‘Let’s go on this Hails’
‘But it looks scary!’ Haylee said in a whining voice.
I made her come with me, I wasn’t scared, okay maybe a little but it was going to be fun.
We waited in line, but there was already about fifteen people ahead, it must be good if it’s the first thing people go to.
So we got to the front of the line and a nice lady showed us the way into our carriages.
‘Avary I’m really scared, get me out’ Haylee said.
‘Hails, were strapped in look’ I said tugging at my straps.
‘Have a nice ride girls’ the lady said as we started going.
The ride was pitch black as we started going, well duh I thought to myself it’s called the ‘Dark Palace Water Coaster’
Okay I realized this was a big mistake, as I was going in loops getting water sprayed at my face.
I wasn’t a big fan of rollercoasters, especially ones that go upside down, I was more of a waterslide person.
The ride had just finished and I could hear Haylee breathing heavily.
‘I want to go see father Avary’ Haylee said.
I think I would have to agree, I could use with a nice milkshake or something.
We both walked towards the spot we chose to place our things where father was. We walked closer and closer until we saw our spot but a lady sitting next to father.
He couldn’t he just couldn’t have a woman, he loved mother with all his heart and now a new woman! Okay maybe I was over reacting but what if it is.
