Chapter 10 Formal Courtship

I was greeted by the cheerful looks of my parents the moment we get home.
"Iha... Hi! Wow you look great!" Mom eagerly hugged me.
"Hello mom, thanks.  Kelangan kayo dumating?"
"Not long ago iha. C'mon, dinner is ready. Pababa na din Ang dad mo." I can see her looking at Raphael's direction.
She guided us toward dining area.  I was amazed with how the food is being served.  "Mom! I didn't know that you are this good in formal dinner.  How did you do it?" Di naman ganoon kagaling Ang mom sa food presentation Kaya nga lagi kaming on catering during family affairs.
"Raphael did all this. He is the one preparing the food."
Ano daw?  Namilog naman Ang mata ko sa Sinai Ng aking Ina. I can't imagine Raphael from airport and do all these things. Sya pa talaga sumundo sa akin sa salon.  Napahanga naman ako dahil doon.
He is such an unpredictably hot guy.
"Really? Thank you Raph"
Bumeso ako pagkadating ni dad.
"Anything for you Soph."
"Kasali ba kami dito sa pagkain Raphael?" Ang himig biro na tanong ni dad sa knya. 
"Syempre po Tito" kinakabahang sagot ni Raphael thou I can sense of his being edgy this time. Di Lang mawari kung bakit.
The food tastes superb.  He has that skills in cooking, no doubt about it. Swerte Ng mapapangasawa niya. I smiled with that thought .
"Ahmm, Tito tita, I would like to ask from you-"
"Oh no Raphael, are you getting married? Hihingiin mo na ba Ang kamay Ng aming princess?" Sabay takip ni mom sa bibig Nya.
OA Lang talaga itong si mom. Paanong mag papakasal, eh di pa nga kami magboyfiend eh.
"Elaine, patapusin mo muna si Raphael sa sasabihin Nya" tila naiirita na si dad sa OA mode ni mom.
"Ooops, my mouth. Go ahead iho."
"Ehemm, 5 years ago, I met Sophie at the business annual ball, I was already smitten by her.  Since then, i wanted to pursue her but dad sent me to states for my masters and there built our hotel branches.  I am always updated of how Sophie was doing here. I'm partly glad that her life is focused on boring the business.  I promised to myself that when time comes that I'll see her again, I will be doing what I ought to do now."  Lumunok sya at uminom na tubig bago tumuloy sa dapat pa nyang sasabihin.  "Tito, tita I would like for formally inform you that I'll be courting Sophie from now on." Then he look intently at me.  My jaw was literally dropped.  Di ko alam anong sasabihin ko.  I just shrugged my shoulders. Sobrang pakilig naman itong si Raphael.
My parents gave us moment of privacy.
We decided to go to garden near the pool.  He handed me bouquet of red roses.  "Soph, this is new to me.  I am not used to this kind of relationship, but the moment I saw you 5 years ago, I know you are for keeps.  Yeah, I must admit, my named was being linked to varieties of women in our society but they are never my girlfriend.  I have my fair share of women, you see I am no saint.  But from now on, I'll let you know that you are my one and only woman in life.  I love you very much."  He pulled me next to him and kissed on my temple.  Dinig  ko ang lakas ng tibok ng mga puso namin.
Tiningala ko sya, I smiled at him.  Magpapakipot pa ba ako, eh we reached to more than kissing!
"Raph, I appreciate everything to did for me and my family.  You showed us how you respected me as a woman.  I am sure you can tell what I also feel towards you from 5 years ago up to now."
I can see his sweetest smile.
"I love you Sophie.  Di ako Magsasawang sabihin yun sa yo."
"I-I love you too Raph." Sa wakas nasabi ko na rin sa kanya.
"But I wanted to enjoy your courtship" nahihiyang sabi ko sa Kanya.  Sobrang pula na ata Ng mukha ko ngayon.  
"Of course! I'd gladly do it.  I don't intend to stop doing this things .  Baby, you don't have an idea how you made me so happy right now."
He cupped my face and gave me multiple passionate peck on the lips.  Andito na kasi sila dad kaya puro nakaw-halik na lang sumunod na ginagawa niya.  Hay naku, ang kamay niya ay na kanina pa nakapulot sa akin.  Hinayaan ko nalang sya, anyway wholesome naman ang paraan ng pagpapakita niya ng sobrang pagmamahal sa akin sa harap ng mga magulang ko.
Sobrang saya din naman mga parents ko nung malaman nila na kami na ni Raphael.  Tinawagan pa talaga ni mom ang mommy ni Raphael para sabihin ang tungkol sa amin ng anak nya.  Napailing nalang kami ni dad sa pinag gagawa ni mom samantala tatawa-tawa si Raphael.
