One word that changes everything
One word that rescues me
One word that awakens something
The feelings inside of me
You told them they were lame
But here my heart you tame
In need of help you came
To those kids as one of their game
That scary look you always made
Is just your own facade
To hide those pain that never fade
How heavy it must weighed
We've been friends since we were little
This tiny heart you tickle
Now when you're around i tremble
With joy and fear I crumble
When I say something I stutter
Because this heart of mine always flatter
'Til the day that my heart shatter
'Til those words when can i splatter
You're near and yet so far
You're like a moon and I'm the star
Wishing I'm the string to your guitar
In the door of your heart which is ajar
I tried my best to reach that moon
Seems like to feelings, he was immune
And in that one rainy afternoon
My tears descend, please stop it soon
And here i am, waiting alone
Soak and wet like my heart has been thrown
There from afar, your shadows have shown
Like a glimpse of hope, like a moonlight shone
Step by step, we're getting closer
Step by step, you're getting nearer
As the gap is getting fewer
Here my heart is beating faster
You're holding an umbrella against the rain
It seems like a shield to all your pain
To my surprise , here in my trivial brain
You let go of the cover and joined me in the rain
You noticed the tears and also the fear
On the spur of the moment, you hugged me so dear
As a bolt from the blue, a voice in my ear
Those soft words you whisper, even my heart can hear
That lasted for hours with nothing but silence
Yet deep in our hearts, we're leaping for gladness
I want to shout how you changed my existence
And how you had given me real confidence
That one word you said that brought us together
That one word you said that got us closer
How "lame" might i look like before we met each other
Now the moon and the star sparkle at night forever
