-Chandler's POV-

As we both kill some of the creatures, I notice Bella run off to the guy called Creed. While she pulls him into one of the houses, I get a better look at him between creatures.

Hey! I've seen that guy before! That's the same guy who helped her out of the house!

The realization of who he is suddenly fills me with anger. Catching me off guard, one of the monsters latches on to my wrist. I drive my machete deep into it's neck before it could do any damage. It's red and black liquids spurt out of the hole as I yank the blade out.

More of the things crumple to the ground around it as I kill the remaining bunch. However, the final one jerks it's body to the side at the last minute and causes me to miss. Instead of going straight to the head, my blade gets caught in the space between the shoulder bone and the spine.

I bring the creature closer to me than I'd like in order to get my machete out. With black goop oozing out of it's snapping jaws, it bites at my neck as I place my other hand on to its rotting shoulder.

Fueled on by the feeling of it's hot, sticky breath against my exposed flesh, I muster up everything I can and tug at my machete. There's a schloop noise as it finally comes free after a couple attempts. The force sends me flying back a bit and down to the ground.

With more of the red and black liquids pouring out of the wound, the creature shows no signs of stopping as it continues shuffling towards me. Still on the ground, I give the thing a kick. It stumbles backwards and trips on one of the other corpses on the ground, giving me more than enough time to get up and finally kill it.

I pull the blade out of it's skull and watch the lifeless body crumple to the ground like the rest with a sense of satisfaction. As I wipe off the blade, my eyes drift over to the house Bella dragged Creed in. The anger from earlier returns to my chest.

What is she doing in there? The damn guy is safe so why isn't she out here helping me? I really could have used the assistance a few moments ago.

I sigh angrily as I kick one of the bodies. "Well, she certainly doesn't need my help anymore." I voice my thoughts to no one in particular as I start back up the hill. The sound of a door closing causes me to freeze at the top. I turn around and glance back down.

Bella, Creed, and some other girl I don't know leave the house and continue down the road. My curiosity getting the best of me, I decide to carefully follow behind them to see where they're going.

Are you sure just curiosity is the reason you're following them Chandler? Or maybe you actually care for Bella?

I roll my eyes at the thoughts running through my head.

Of course I'm only following them out of curiosity. I don't have any feelings for Bella, right?

-Bella's POV-

Creed supports himself with my shoulder as we make our way back to the group house. "Geez Creed. How in the hell did you manage to get far away from the house with one good leg in this amount of time?"

Creed shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly. "I don't know." Jordan sighs as she yanks her machete out of one of the creatures. It crumples to the ground beside her as she turns to roll her eyes at him.

"Whatever. I don't really care." Jordan looks forward as we continue making our way through the streets.

Soon we arrive back at the house. Jordan swings the door open forcefully. "Hey Curtis! Look who we brought back from the dead!" It bangs off of the door stopper as Curtis, Timmy, Brooke, Meliyah, Adam, and Garrett come out of the living room and into the foyer.
