Emmanuel sneered as the blood gushed from Jasper's body. Before he died I swear he whispered 'at last'. I saw Emmanuel kill my best friend, that fact resonated through my body, making me feel something I had never felt before. Heat flooded from my heart and down my spine, flames licking down my body, setting me ablaze from the inside. My vision was suddenly clouded by red tears and as I looked at Emmanuel I realized that everything was tinted red. My bones began to snap and I was thrown forward on all fours, with the most agonizing pain I had ever experienced. My nose had grown and It was covered with little brown flecks on my white fur. I radiated power and my senses had increased tenfold, I could see each individual fiber on Sean's worthless back and I could hear it when Jasper's heart had finally stopped, I had thought it already had. My anger tripled, I didn't think that could happen, and I suddenly looked at Emmanuel different, instead of fear I felt the indescribable need to jump onto him and rip his throat out with my teeth, my claws ached for the feel of his flesh being ripped off in agonizing strips.
'Do it then!' A woman's voice whispered to me. I jumped and looked around but no one was there. I listened as hard as I could and I heard no woman's voice.
'I am inside you, no one can hear me but you.' It whispered again. I jolted at the sound and again when my mind caught up to what had just happened to me. I HAD JUST PHASED! FOR THE FIRST TIME! That was a big deal and I now knew who the voice belonged to, she was my inner wolf. I glanced around the room and my eyes fell again on Emmanuel and my anger reignited, for it had wavered when I took in the miracle that had just happened to me. I let out a low growl, the sound tearing from my diaphragm and lashing at my throat. Once it left my lips he spun around, his eyes widening a bit before he shifted into a deeply brown-orange color that assaulted the eyes. He growled back and I lunged. It was me and him, I didn't care how much older he was, how much more experience he had, he was going to die and I was going to be the one to do it. We spun around each other, his jaws snapping at the places were I just was. Taking advantage to the fact that I was much smaller and faster, I continually spun around him, my tail missing his teeth by inches. We stopped and our eyes met. His widened in fear and I felt power that I had never known before course through me, I felt his fear and it strengthened me. I hated him, all I wanted out of now, from this second in time, all I wanted was him dead, him and his sidekicks, in the most painful method possible. A whirlwind appeared around them, picking up shards of glass. Emmanuel was now the one stuck, helpless in a whirlwind. The glass stripped off peices off their skin, then muscle, then bone. Both Sean and Patrick were staring at me as well but I only had eyes for Emmanuel, I wanted to watch him die. I wanted to watch the spark of life leave his eyes and leave behind the blank open stare, the stare of a man who looses everything. The longer it went, the more momentum the whirlwind picked up, when it finally stopped and the glass shattered to the floor, I saw the stare on his face. The glass had missed his eyes all together and I inched the foot between us away and stared into the eyes of the murderer. I was shocked, for a second I thought Jasper was behind me, but as I spun around and my eyes came to rest on his blank ones, I realized that there was no one there. I stared into Emmanuel's dead glassy orbs and saw a pair of canary yellow eyes peering back at me.
