Luke's Point of View

I left her in the room with the food, knowing now that she wouldn't try to leave me. I stepped into the shower feeling happier than I ever had before.

'Iris will make a wonderful Luna for our pack' my wolf whispered at me. I couldn't agree more. I was filled with images of her leading this pack at my side. I shivered with pleasure when I thought about fulfilling the desire in me to go into the other room and suggest we save water by showering together, I got excited at the thought.

'When will you give in to me and mate with her, We need our mark on her.' my wolf growled at me. Anger filled me, killing the excitement, I growled involuntarily at the thought of her not being mine. A couple can be split apart if they have not been mated and have his mark on the side of her neck. A mark was his teeth mark, during the mating process not only are the werewolves having sex, so are the wolves that the werewolves posses. I would, while we were mating, bite her neck, and leave a mark that would always stay on her. My wolf ached for hers, and I suppressed him, she could barely do extraneous activity let alone what I wanted to do with her. I rinsed my hair and stepped out of the shower before towling off and brushing my hair. I looked in the mirror at myself and noticed a glow had taken over my skin and that I was smiling. I am usually a sarcastic and mean person, ergo, I never smile, but ever since my small little perfect Iris had sauntered into my life I could not stop smiling if I wanted to. Even my wolf was more mild than usual. I got dressed and walked out of the room to retrieve Iris before going to meet Ginger. I looked around and my senses automatically perked up, Iris was not here. I searched for her with my mind, reaching my thoughts to hers but I couldn't pick up on her thoughts. Her scent was in the air, leaving my room. I shifted, feeling the familiar hot lava like pain wash through me. I started to see red and my bones started to pop, then I was on all fours charging from my room. Maybe she had decided to leave me after all.

'You shouldn't have left her alone, you imbecile!' My wolf snapped at me, I could feel his rage at me building and I knew that soon he would be shaking with anger. I vaulted through the woods in my manic searching for her I ran straight into my Beta, Daniel.

"Woah whats wrong bro?" Daniel asked, getting back off of the ground where he fell when I ran into him.

'Iris!' I thought with all of my might, practically screaming it into his head.

"Shes with Melina, they are fine dude." Daniel said, flipping his surfer hair.

'Are you positive?' I thought back to him, I knew he was so my stance relaxed a little.

"Absolutely" He said "They are in the house, want me to go with you?" I nodded and he walked with me up to my room, I put on new clothes, for I had shredded the other ones when I shifted, and we followed her scent down the stairs into Melina's room. I knocked.

"Melina! Iris is in there with you right? I came out of the shower and couldn't find her! I even ran the woods before I thought about following her scent. Please tell me she is in there with you!" I panicked through the door. I heard Melina laugh and then the door in front of me fell open, causing me to trip through the doorway. I looked up and saw Iris, but this wasn't the Iris I had seen before, this Iris had to be a mirage. She had cut her hair, it looked beautiful, framing that beautiful face of hers. I looked from the tips of the mirages' polished toes to the top of her pretty little head. My pulse had started to sprint and my breath stopped coming easily. I stared at this beautiful sculpture for a minute before she laughed. Mirages couldn't laugh, so this piece of gods handiwork in front of me must be my Iris, abandoning all restraint, forgetting that she was still weak and ill and that she probably wasn't ready I crossed the room and took her porcelain face in between my hands and kissed her. I kissed her with such a fierce passion that the room had started to spin, I kissed her hungrily and hard, as if not enough of my lips could touch hers. We broke apart, panting.

"Finally I get to do that." I whispered, my voice came out huskier and more out of breath than usual. She caught me by surprise by planting a soft, sweet kiss on my lips.

"Im glad you did, just a bit softer next time." a smile broke across her face and my wolf howled. Our eyes locked and I stared into the face of my forever.

'There is no way in hell he is leaving me now.' shot through my mind. I squeezed our interwoven hands.

"Never." I whispered and we left Melina's room. Melina had turned the corner and now was locked to Daniel through their hands.

"Lets go meet Ginger." She smiled. We walked from the pack house and out into the woods. I picked Iris up and carried her, she didn't look as if she would make it very far. When I scooped her into my arms like a husband would his wife she smiled at me and I felt my cheeks grow warm. I caught Iris staring at Melina and Daniel.

'I wonder what its like.' shot through my mind.

"Like us.'' I said aloud. Melina shot me a questioning look and I shook my head. We arrived at Gingers house, Iris was looking around so I put her down.

"Hey guys!" came a shout. Ginger came striding from the house and straight up to us. I heard Iris gasp as she took in Gingers fresh red eyes. Red eyes the color of fresh blood.
