"Well, it's nothing too severe," the nurse said. "What caused it?"

Hina was silent for a moment. What would she say? "Uh, I was helping out 'Rick' with some extra Kendo training at Bamboo Park and one of the bamboo sticks snapped off and fell on me."

" . . . . I see," the nurse said, examining the wound. She put ointment on it, then pressed gauss against it. "It'll be fine, as long as you don't touch it."

"Thanks." replied Hina. The nurse does not reply; she only continues her work.

"Something wrong?" asked Hina as the nurse applied the bandages.

The nurse shook her head. "Nothing. I've just seen marks like this, and they were caused by more than a simple fall of an object."

"Oh, I see." replied Hina.

"Yes . . . . " the nurse muttered. The nurse finished with the bandages and helped Hina off the table. "That should do it."

"I suggest that you don't over work yourself," the nurse concluded. "It could really strain your wound." She opened the office door.

"Right. Guess that means I'll be missing practice later today," said Hina. "Thanks again." Hina waved goodbye as the nurse closed the door.

"Hey!" Drift piped, suddenly jumping out in front of her. "You okay?"

"Gosh! Second time you've done that, today!" Hina yelped, placing a hand over her chest.

"I'm sorry. I just want to know if you're alright," Drift said, trying to calm Hina down.

"Yeah I'm fine. Judging by what the nurse said, I'm going to be missing this afternoons practice today." said Hina.

"Aw," Drift said, trying not to smile on what he was about to say. "Does that mean I don't have to do anything?"

"Oh, I don't know about that you little trouble maker." Hina chuckled.

Drift frowned at the floor, then looked back at Hina, a forced grin on his face. "Fine, fine."

"Good boy," Hina patted him on the head. "Okay, I need some shut eye. Doctors orders."

"Okaaaaaay," Drift sighed. "And don't do that. I not a puppy." He couldn't help but giggle.

"You sure about that?" teased Hina.

"I'm sure," Drift said, wiping a laughter-filled tear from his eye. He cracked himself up sometimes.

"I think you need to see the nurse. That laugh of yours could be contagious." replied Hina with a giggle.

"Bad case of the giggles, eh?" Drift laughed.

"Defiantly." said Hina.

"In that case...." Drift's holoform scooped up Hina, carefully hoisting her over his shoulder.

"What are you doing?" asked Hina with a laugh.

"C-c-c-carryin' you," he said, trying to beatbox. Of course, he sucked at it, so he just spat everywhere for no reason.

"Oh dear god, you sound like Justin Bieber trying to rap in his song Boyfriend," said Hina while laughing. "Quit it, your're making me laugh too much."

"You humans say laughter is the best medicine," replied Drift. "Justin Bieber . . . ?" Drift questioned in his head. He had heard a song by him on the radio. He thought his ears were going to bleed. He started to sing, just to tease Hina. "Baaaby, baaaby-baaaby, aaaaawwwww!"

"Oh gosh, Dri--Rick stop!" squealed Hina.

"You know you love me, I know you care, just shout whenever, and I'll be there!" sang Drift.
