Author POV-

She stood under a lonely streetlight in an abandoned neighborhood, a lit cigarette resting between her lips. Her skin crawled as the wind kissed her skin in the most eerie fashion. The cold pole seemed to be her only protection from the Creatures. There were rumors going around about the abandoned street, all that circulate around the huge mansion the stood in the middle. The dark building was only lit by the red tint of the blood moon. She flicked the cigarette against the pole, sending the flaring ashes to the concrete, before looking around and doing as she was warned. The frail, and contradiction of the strength put into it, voice of the old woman that warned her about this street sounded in her ear as she made her way across to the mansion.

Many legends have been told by older generations, some to get their children to behave, some as a joke, others as a caution to their kin. She was warned of the dangers yet, unlike others, she has chosen to risk her soul at this night, where there true forms are released at the mercy of the full moon.

She knocks at the door and walks in as the heavy door creaked open...
