It seems that in 2017 people still don't know the meaning of respect. In fact, they don't seem to know the existence of it. For me, it's sad. As a person who's really into art, I tend to look really deeply into things and this is one of them. Say if the man/women I marry doesn't have respect for me. However, because of the love I have for them, we still have a child. A child who learns from their environment, surroundings and people. By learning from people, they will learn that disrespect is somehow a form of love. And they will, when the time comes, act with disrespect to the person they actually love. They don't know they are doing wrong. Not one bit. Because at the end of the day it's all they have known. But say this cycle carries on, and on, and on. And then what? We will have a society that acts with disrespect.See disrespect isn't something someone learns. It's something they are taught. So maybe if good people teach their children or family not to discriminate somebody for what they are or believe in, or even what they choose to do with their self or their well-being, then maybe hate, disrespect and any form of negativity will turn into the minority. Instead of the majority. Then maybe it will stop altogether. And people will be happy with everything they have.
I doubt this will ever happen. Which again, is sad. Because we all shouldn't think ill of people and the world, but it's a goal that is extremely far from ever being achieved.
Who knows? Maybe someday it will happen though.
