Now when I say this I'm trying to be horrible and say kids shouldn't have toys. What I mean is why do boys get given toy action men/soldier toys, and girls get given Barbie Dolls? Isn't it being a little sexist saying that boys need to be like that action figure: strong, handsome, tall and adventurous, whereas girls need to be like the Barbie: skinny, pretty and wear pink.
Why do little kids get influenced by their toys? They are getting intoxicated by what they are playing with. When they grow up the boys will want to be in the army, and the girls will want to be, well whatever Barbie does these days, look pretty with Ken?
I just think its a little stupid how their toys aren't like unisex. I would say a bike is a unisex toy, but usually they make the colour correspond to the gender. Making pink for girls and blue for boys. Which is another thing which I believe is wrong. Why are genders represented at colours? Why cant they just be random colours like white. White is neutral to me. It can be whatever you want it to be.
Anyway, rant over. I hope you understand what I mean by this. Also please, vote and share, it helps me a lot! And, if you want to voice your opinion please put your thoughts into the comment section. I will read them, but never delete them. Thank you. Xx.
(sorry if there are spelling mistakes too.)
