I'm a victim of this too but be honest here guys. All the fanfics you read all have similar storylines or some similar events.
They all do. Don't lie. I see you lying.
Someone will read another book and think that's book. And start writing a book about a different band but with the same frigging events or storyline. No guys. Don't do that shit.
It's crap. And makes you look like your not creative. When you probably are as creative as the next man (or women. No sexism here.)
Just make it different.
Just like to point out too. If you ever are writing a sorta big story and you get bored, try making a short stories book. It helps you to stop thinking your stuff if boring because you wrote the story and then publish it and forget about it.
