"Adam...I...I have a confession to make." He cut me off. "I need to tell you this before you go. I love you. Not as a friend, but more than that." He blushed, "But I think I found a way that I will be able to return and be with you, Violet." My heart raced. He never called me by my real name. He only called me Eagle... But why Violet all of a sudden? Does he really mean this? I stammered, "H...how? Please, so you really can come back! I need you." Winter opened the door quietly and was standing in the doorway, but I didn't pay mind to her. Adam took my hand and looked into my half blue half turquoise eyes intently. "You need to retrieve a Mana flower and craft it into a potion along with a lightning bug and a regeneration potion. I need to take that and drink it. Hopefully, it'll work."

I reached into my pocket and pulled a few coins out. Winter tapped me on the shoulder. "Here," she whispered, "take this. You and Adam are made for each other." I kissed her on the cheek. When I turned around, Adam had a Jungle rose in his hand. My hands went to my head and took off the helmet. A waterfall of black hair billowed down to my waist. I looked at my hands as he put the rose in my hair. His hands were swift as he made it so it wouldn't fall out. "Thank you." I sobbed quietly. His hand went to my face, and he stopped at my cheek, his other hand was on the mana flower. He wiped away a tear. "Adam, I'll have this in no time. I will get it to you, say goodbye, and we'll be gone." I sighed. I walked closer to him and hugged him. Adam nodded, let go, and went to his house. I could've sworn he had tears in his eyes.

I went to my table and sat down. My hands worked quickly, for I was wasting time. I pulled out a water bottle and brewed the crushed mana flower with a lightning bug and a regeneration potion together. The potion sparkled black with red and gold stars emanating from the brew. My long legs ran to Adam's house. "Here.." I handed him the bottle. "Thank you. I hope to see you again, Violet." He said softly. I pulled him to me. A kiss was planted on my cheek as I hugged him close.

I ran back to my house and grabbed my armor. I looked at my sister. "You are my hero. You are doing everything you can to get him back aren't you?" Winter smiled. She put her sword in the hilt and nodded. As I walked to the cave entrance, I looked back at Adam as he stood in his doorway. I turned back to the cave, and we left for the underworld as tears started again. My sister disappeared into the darkness below my feet, and it made me feel as if my entire world was falling apart and I was losing everything. I held my breath as the darkness below seemed to swallow me whole. All I felt was cold air around me and warm tears running down my face.
