Riley' s POV
It was really early for Maya to be waking me up. "Why are you up so early, peaches?" I asked.
"Money is scarce at home. Mom says I have to get a job" she replied.
"A JOB??!" I screamed.
"Yes and I was wondering if you would help me look through some for me online"
"Of course Maya! And I'll work there with you. We can start looking when we get back home from school" I said.
"Thanks Riley"
"No problem"
Then we headed to school
----- TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL------
We went to Topangas to begin looking for jobs on our phones. I found one at the circus for dancing and I showed Maya as a joke.
She laughed and asked me if I was crazy. "I most definitely am haha" I said.
Farkle came in.
"Ladies"
"Farkle"
"What are you guys doin'", he asked.
"We're looking for jobs because Maya said her mom said she needs one" I said.
Then Maya showed me one for an attendant at the movie theater.
"That looks like fun! Can you apply us?", I asked.
"Okay I'll call them be right back", she said.
I smiled. She walked out of Topangas to make the call.
I continued talking to Farkle.
"So, Riley you really think you want a job?", he asked me.
"Whatever it takes to keep my peaches happy", I responded.
"Well I'm proud of you Riles", he smiled.
"Really?"
"Yea"
"Why? Do you think I'm too scared for a job in the big city?" I laughed.
"Yep. Haha"
I playfully punched him.
