Leah’s POV

Jeremy got a call from his dad today.  It has been five days since the explosion and Jeremy’s dad wants us to come back.  All he knew was that Jeremy took me from the rest of the pack until things settled down.

“Leah” Jeremy said as he hung up the phone, “We are going to go back to my car and go into town.  We need to get new clothes.”  I nodded my head and he took my hand leading me out of the house.  “We don’t have any other clothes, so we have to walk back to where the new pack house is, in our human form.”

“New pack house?  Hasn’t it only been five days?”

I smiled; I personally didn’t expect everything to settle down so fast.  Apparently, this was not a surprise to Jeremy, “Yeah, they have half of the pack’s houses back up too.  The pack members without houses yet are staying at the pack house.”  Then he slowed down to a dead stop and because I was holding his hand I came to a stop too.  “I have been thinking, my dad is coming close to resignation and that means I will have to step up as the new Alpha.  I have a good reputation with this pack, so they won’t question my decisions.”  He pulled my hand making me move closer to him and face him.  “Would you pull want me to give Kyle the duty of the pack house and living in the cabin together?”  His eyes were scanning my face.  He looked cute when he is worried.

“Of course I would.”  I said smiling and going on my tip toes, closing the gap between us.  Jeremy pilled away from the kiss after a minute.

“I was scared you were going to say no.”  He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me to his chest.  I started to laugh and pushed away from him.

I took his hand in mine and started walking, “We have to keep walking or we will never get back.”  I was still laughing lightly.

“Your right my wolf wanted me to do a lot more than hug you.”  He laughed and scratched the back of his neck with his free hand.  “He doesn’t personally like the idea of me waiting to mate you, but that’s what I think we should do, until you are completely confident in me.”

There was a tree stump and I jumped onto it, letting go of Jeremy’s hand.  Then, Jeremy walked past me and turned around, “What are you doing?”  He cocked his head to the side.  That is when I jumped.  As I expected, he instantly reacted, wrapping his arms around my waist.  “Why are you so strange?”  I laughed.

“That’s why you love me, right?”  I snuggled my head into his neck.

“That is defiantly why I love you!”

I wiggled, trying to get back onto my own two feet.  It was useless, he was too tall and strong, “Put me down!”  I whined.

“No way, if you keep it up I’m going to have to carry you over my shoulder.”  He laughed.

I continued to struggle, “You would enjoy that, wouldn’t you?”  I almost got out of his grip, when he lifted my body so I was suddenly facing his back, bent at the waist over his shoulder.

This is how I was forced to stay for the rest of the trip back.  When he finally put me down, I turned to have him. “You are mean, now my stomach hurts.”  When I turned back around I saw what the male pack members have been doing for the past five days.  Some were working on building homes, but the rest were helping move furniture in and out of houses.  They were beautiful.

The pack member’s houses were fairly sized and elegant looking.  Turning to where the old pack house used to be, I saw an enormous, elegant mansion that was the equivalent of a modern castle. “Wow”

“I know, the men must have been working nonstop.”  Jeremy took my hand and led me down the driveway to what I assumed was his 2012 Camaro.  Jeremy walked to the passenger side and opened the door for me to get in.
