"Okay, Aiden show mommy what you're gonna wear tonight!" I liked to make Aiden pick out his own clothes so he learns, and won't be so dependent on me. He ran over to his closet, and picked out khakis, and a plaid button-up shirt. "Good job!" I told him as he ran back to me.

I was already almost completely dressed, I just needed to fix my hair, which Aiden loved to watch me do that. He excitedly got dressed, and followed me into the vanity. As I started to put toothpaste on my toothbrush, I noticed Aiden attempting to do the same thing, with his baby-toothbrush, and his strawberry flavored toothpaste. We both began to brush our bottom teeth first, then the inside of our jaw, then our tongues, and last our top teeth. I brushed my hair and decided that it looked better down, Aiden of course was coping me. He watched as I put a dab of lotion on my hands and rubbed them together. "Mommy, do men wear lotion?"

I contained my laughter, "Well, no honey...Not usually." I picked him up and toted him out the door and to the car. Lui wanted me to pick him up at his house. He likes my car a lot better than his, and he loves Aiden. I was pretty skeptical about going to a restaurant that had people singing, I didn't Aiden to hear curse words or see people drunk and acting foolish.

"Do you really think that I would go to a place like that?" Lui asked, by his voice, I could tell he was offended. "Well, no, but-" Lui interrupted, "But nothing! I would never in a billion years take you and little Aiden to a place like that! Why would you even think that? Do you not trust me?" Lui crossed his arms, he was offended. Aiden broke the momentary silence, "Butt." He giggled, Lui and I could help but laugh. "I'm sorry, Lui. I do trust you, am I forgiven?"
