The Starkid Scream 2: Blood Night

Joey's POV

"Joseph Michael Richter, you are faced with a $250,000 fine and up to 25 years in prison for murder..." I rolled my eyes as the Judge went on, describing my trial. I glanced to my left and saw Mere, who was looking back at me with sad, guilty eyes.

The bailiff grabbed both my arms, cuffed them together and marched me into the hall. He did the same with Meredith and left the hall, probably giving us time to say goodbye. Little did he know that we weren't going to say goodbye.

"Before we 'leave' each other, I wanna give you a little present." She reached down into her shoe and secretly pulled out a knife, covered with 3 year old, dried blood. This was the knife that Meredith had almost killed Annie with, but the little bitch somehow survived.

"Hide it good, kay?" Mere said. I nodded and hid it in my jail jumpsuit. "Come and get me as soon as you make it into the Manor, then I'll break out myself and the others."

I nodded once again. She leaned forward and kissed me on the cheek, just as the bailiff led Meredith away to her cell.

Another cop came and brought me back to my cell. But just as he was about to close the cell door, I wrapped my hand around his throat and pulled him into the cell. I repeatedly slammed him into the wall, fury burning inside me. I watched as the struggling cop's eyes slowly rolled to the back of his head. With a smirk, I dropped his body onto the ground and retrieved the keys for my cell from his pocket.

I quietly snuck out of the cell and out of the jail building, and followed the alley pathway to the StarKid Manor, where I knew Annie, Brian, the others and Annie and Brian's new addition to the family would be waiting.
