Part two

Third person point of view

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* 6:30 A.M.

Gaz was sitting in her room drawing when she heard an obnoxious sound. At first, she just ignored it, but it has been beeping for more than a minute, and she was getting really mad. 'When will Dib just turn off his alarm?' She was now pissed, and she grabbed a book. Gaz walked over to Dib's door, it was closed. She kicked the door and it slammed open, breaking the hinges on the door.

Dib jumped up and yelled, "What was that for!?"

Gaz threw the book at the alarm clock and it stopped beeping. She turned her head and glared at Dib, giving him a, 'You know what you did' look.

"It's time to get up and go to school, nerd." Gaz saw Zim sleeping next to her brother, then she looked back at Dib.

"Totally knew it. Wake up your boyfriend, he has to go to school as well." Gaz turned around and walked back to her room before Dib could even protest.

Dib looked down at Zim, sleeping peacefully even through all that noise. He gently touched Zim's face, his skin was so soft. 'I guess I have to wake him up. I really don't want to though, who could wake up someone who looks so cute?' Dib sighed and gently shook Zim.

"Zim, come on wake up!" he whisper-shouted. He shook Zim a little harder and he groaned.

Zim mumbled something softly. Dib rolled his eyes and got up. He needed to get dressed, but he didn't want Zim to see him shirtless/pantless, though, he is asleep. Dib closed the door and opened his closet then pulled out an identical pair of shirt and pants. He got undressed then dressed in his identical, but clean clothes. He glanced over his shoulder and saw Zim was still sleeping. Dib sighed in relief. He walked over to the peaceful alien and shook him.

"Zim, you have to wake up and go to school." Zim shot up with his eyes wide open, and he screamed.

"Where am I?!" Zim looked around frantically and panted heavily. Dib was quite shocked with his reaction and asked him what was wrong.

Zim looked at him, and remembered yesterday, this calmed him down a bit.

"I...had what you call a 'nightmare'. I've never actually had one before, but I heard of it when researching about humans." Dib gave him a reassuring hug. Zim liked Dib's gesture, and was content.

"We need to go to school, classes start in twenty minutes." Dib exclaimed, and Zim grumbled something about blowing up the school, Dib gave him a stern look. They got ready and walked to school.

Two weeks later

Zim and Dib have been dating for two weeks now, but nobody in the class knows about this because they are not the most observant of people. The only thing they do realize is Zim's sudden possessive behavior towards Dib. Once, a kid gave Dib a pat on the back for helping them with science, and Zim slapped the shit out of that kid. Dib stopped Zim from any further damage given to the kid.

Dib didn't really like Zim's sudden extreme aggressiveness, but Dib knew that he was just protective of him.

Zim had been having a recurring nightmare each night, but he has gotten used to them. The nightmares were blurry, but one thing he did remember, it was him was drowning in the ocean, his flesh burning, then air escaping from him and it all fading to black.

In the class the seating chart has been switched to where you can sit anywhere you wanted to. Of course, Dib and Zim sat next to each other, but one day Zim had to be moved somewhere else.
