Rose: Jealousy

Part three

It was Thursday night, a cold wind that washed over the town.  Everybody was sleeping, except that one person who was staying up all night, studying, but mostly procrastinating and watching videos.  

Anyway, Dib was sleeping happily.  He was having a dream about flying in the night sky, soaring as the stars shined.  He felt like anything was possible, but then he fell and landed in a pretty field, he felt no pain from landing impact.  Dib curled up in the warm grass and rested.  

Meanwhile, Zim was actually not having a nightmare, but it wasn't a dream either.  It was just dark, and cold, it felt...alone.  He woke up, and he felt like his center organ was ice.  Zim got his phone and texted Dib, he got his phone number about four days ago, then he bought a phone.

Zim: Hey, can i come over? (1:28 A.M.)

                                                     Dibberz: No, and why are you texting at one in the morning? (1:29 A.M.)

Zim: I feel cold, also i'm just going to go over there anyway. (1:29 A.M.)

                            Dibberz: Seriously? You texted me just to tell me your cold?! And I just said no! (1:30 A.M.)

Zim: To late, I'm already leaving my house. (1:31 A.M.)

                                           Dibberz: At least enter in my window so my parents won't notice. (1:31 A.M.)

Dib tossed his phone aside and rubbed his eyes in frustration, he sighed.  'On the bright side I don't have to deal with Zim being protective since there is literally no one to be jealous of in my house.  I don't know why he is like this way, I mean, I won't cheat, I have no reason to, I was the one who asked him in the first place!' 

*Tap tap tap*

He turned his head and saw Zim out the window.  'Jeez, that was fast.'  Dib opened the window and let him in.  Zim climbed in and brushed himself off.

"So why-" Suddenly Dib was tackled by Zim.  He held Dib closely and cuddled him.  About a few minutes later Zim fell asleep, Dib sighed, then fell asleep too.

*BEEP B-SMASH* Dib threw his new bought alarm clock across the room.  For some reason Dib felt this random irritation, he felt slightly mad.  

"Hey, wake up or I'm going to dump water on you." Dib shook him.  Zim screamed at the thought of water.  Zim got up and jumped out the window, running towards the school.

"That's a little bit dramatic."  Dib was talking to himself.  He got ready for school then rode the bus because he felt lazy today.  

There were so many kids on the bus, it was annoying.  Dib sat in the back, grabbed earbuds out of his pocket and started listening to music.  He stared humming with the song, notes danced around in his mind as he was in bliss.

There was a sudden interruption of his moment of happiness, as Zach pulled his earbud out of his ear.

Dib turned his head over and sighed, facing Zach, "What do you want?"  He asked pleadingly, all he wanted to be was alone. 

Zach was still smiling as always.

"I have a question for you."  Zach could be a fucking sun, he was so bright in positivity.
