"I don't know I kinda like the blue ones," I said exasperated. Jayden and I were trying to plan out our wedding and had been for days. Currently, we were looking at napkins. I knew I was being knit-picky, but I wanted everything to be perfect. I had dreamed about this since I was little and I had never thought it would actually happen.
Jayden grabbed my face in his hands and planted a kiss on my forehead. "Mwah," he said goofily. "Blue ones it is!"
"Jay Jay you don't have to agree with everything I like," I mumbled shyly.
"I know. But, I like the blue ones too and really the only important thing to me is that you're there." He smiled goofily. He'd been acting very goofy since he moved in. I liked it.
"Oh ok the blue ones then. Now we just have to decide on... all of these things," I said holding up a list of things we needed to go over. Jayden laughed and we got to work.

"Ok so we decided to have the wedding on July 6th. I wasn't sure if you got the invite. Will you be able to come if we have it then?" I asked my mom, my phone wedged between my ear and my shoulder.
"Of course! What else do I have to do?" She replied excitedly. I made a little check mark by her name on the list I had in front of me. She was the only person on my side of the family that was going to be there. Jayden had contacted all of his friends and family and he had about 40 people coming. So there was a slight difference. Nina was going to be my maid of honor and one of Jayden's little cousins was going to be the flower girl. So far I was planning on just not having bridesmaids.
It would be a small wedding, sure, but it would be the best wedding I could wish for. In 1 month exactly, now, I would be Jayden's wife. I would be married. I squealed and wiggled like a weirdo by myself in my room. This was the best time of my life. "Doo dee doo dee doo," I sang.
At that moment Jayden walked in the door. "What are you doing ya weirdo?"
"Oh nothin."
He laughed and plopped himself on my bed beside me. "You're so cute," he said. "My little bride to be."
Just then my phone rang. I didn't recognize the number, so I just ignored it. A few seconds later my phone made another sound and I noticed the person had left me a voicemail. I frowned and picked it up to listen.
Hello, Wendy? This is Cami calling about your wedding dress. I'm so very sorry, but while we were getting it ready for you something got spilled on it. We're not sure what it was, but it left a stain. There's no more of this dress in your size, but we'll give you a full refund or a different dress. Call me back. I'm so very sorry.
I put down the phone in horror. My gorgeous dress, stained. I was already so stressed out about everything being perfect and now this had to happen. I looked at Jayden and opened my mouth to tell him what had happened... only to burst into tears. Somehow I choked the words out and he reassured me that everything would be fine. At least he tried to. I wasn't fully convinced, but I put on a smile and hoped he was write. Everything needed to be spot on.
Ding. I looked down. In the midst of my crying I hadn't heard my phone ring again. I had another voicemail. I picked it up warily.
Hello Wendy, this is Dana. I'm just calling about the napkins you ordered. I'm sorry to inform you that we're completely out of stock of that style and we won't be getting a new ship for quite awhile. Feel free to order another type or if you're not interested we'll give you a full refund.
I gave up and sagged down onto my pillow. Why was everything suddenly going wronggg? I hoped and prayed that I could fix it in time. Otherwise this wedding would be a disaster.
Poor Wendy. She's having the struggles. I hope you guys are enjoying the story!! In other news, my friend _springdays_ and I made a collab account Liatris_and_G6 and we just published the first chapter of a story we're writing called Too Far Gone to be Fixed.
