After a few days I was able to go home and so was Jinni. She was happy and healthy and adorable. We had decided to have her middle name be Paisley since Jayden liked that name. Jinni Paisley Hartford. I silently fangirled over how cute her name was. So far she had been a fairly quiet baby which was such a blessing. I was stressed out about being the perfect mom and it seemed like Jinni was happy to help me out.

Jayden was also happy to help me out. He was a little more nervous now that the baby was actually born, but he was so excited. He always wanted to do anything and everything and I kept telling him he'd get worn out, but he kept pushing. He was so enthusiastic it was adorable. I took the first step into the house with baby Jinni. I smiled down at her sleeping in my arms. "This is your home now, Princess," I whispered.

Jayden walked in behind me and shut the door. He put his hands on my shoulders and rubbed my arms, kissing the top of my head. I was exhausted, but he seemed to be holding up. And holding me up. He was a real trooper. Jinni let out a winner and squirmed slightly in my arms.

"I'll take her to see the nursery," Jayden said softly. He slipped his arms around her and carried her off. I was tired, but I still followed behind him. We had turned the spare room into a nursery when we found out we had a little one coming. Which was fine since we weren't planning on having people stay here often. Most of the people who would be visiting lived nearby and wouldn't need a place to stay.

We tiptoed into the little nursery and Jay gently put Jinni in the crib. She stayed sound asleep and her head rested to the side. She was so beautiful. I looked up at Jayden and smiled. He smiled back. This was a new chapter in my life that would lead to many others. And I was happy to be sharing these chapters with him.

I know this is very very short but I decided to end the book here. But don't freak out! I will have a sequel up soon so stay posted! I love you all and to all of you who have stayed with me through this whole story thank you so much! 😘
