I was now about halfway through the pregnancy and everything was going well. It seemed like it was going by so quickly. Only four and a half months to go and I would be a mommy. I gently touched my stomach and smiled. We had decided to wait to find out whether it was a girl or a boy and be surprised. We still needed to brainstorm some names. It was Saturday and Jayden was home.

"Jay Jay!" I called. He poked his head in the living room. "We should brainstorm baby names."

"Yeah I've actually got a few ideas. I'm so excited!"

"What are your ideas?"

He walked over and sat on the couch next to me. "Becca, Paisley, Winter, and Haillee."

"Hun, those are all girl names," I laughed. He must've been hoping for a girl.

"Huh. Yeah I guess they are."

"How about we narrow it down to two. I like Paisley and Winter. I had a few girl names in mind too, though. Ada and Cecily."

"How about we just narrow it down to three for now? Paisley, Winter, and Cecily?"

"Ok. Now what if it's a boy? I know you want it to be a girl, but it could be a boy."

"Yeah I know. Maybe Dylan or Reid."

"Those are cute. And I like Liam. That's basically the only one I thought of. So, ok. We got our three for each!"

Jay kissed my stomach and got up to do something in the kitchen. I sighed. Pregnancy was tiring. I flopped to the side, laying on the couch. Soon enough I was drifting off to sleep...

"Wendy, Honey, we can't eat spaghetti everyday," Jayden said calmly, later that day.

"I knowww its just what I feel like. Can we just have it tonight?"

"We've had spaghetti the past three nights, Love."

"I'm sorry I just- I just," I started to tear up. Being emotional was really annoying. I didn't even care whether or not we had spaghetti. Stupid hormones. Jayden rubbed my back, trying to calm me down and I could tell he was about to give in and make spaghetti. "God Jayden you don't have to make spaghetti. The world doesn't revolve around me. I'm just having weird cravings and hormones and crap. Don't even listen to me, make what you want."

He smiled. "I can maybe handle one more night of spaghetti."

I hit him playfully. "Can you stop being perfect?"

"Sorry, but no," He laughed. He went into the kitchen and started getting out noodles and spaghetti sauce and other ingredients.

Being pregnant was hard. Jayden was definitely handling it better than me, but I was so excited. I wasn't sure how to be a mom, though. It was going to be so new to me and I hadn't been good at many things in my life. I was scared to death, but at the same time I wanted to be a mom so bad. And I knew how much Jayden wanted to be a dad, to have a little prince or princess to spoil and take care of. I hadn't expected an addition to the family so soon, but I was feeling more ready everyday. I couldn't believe I was going to be a mom so soon. I was going to be a mom...
