"Raven, I made you an appointment with Dr. Montgomery on Saturday," Dexter said as he got into bed for the night. "Thanks," Raven said as she put on her nightgown. "I was thinking. We should move the wedding date. I would like to have it after the baby is born. If that's ok with you." Raven got under the covers. "That's fine. But won't we be tired, with getting up in the middle of the night?" Raven put on her reading glasses and grabbed her book she's been reading. "It depends on the baby Dexter. We could have a baby that sleeps most of the night. My dad said I did." Dexter grabbed her book from her and took off her glasses. Raven giggled. "I know what your trying to do Dexter, and it's not going to work." Raven looked at him. He had taken off his glasses, to revile his bright blue eyes. Dexter kissed Raven and Raven gave in. They had a night a passion.
Saturday, Raven checked into the office of Doctor Montgomery. "Please fill this sheet of paper out."Said a lady that worked there. Raven took the sheet of paper and sat down on a chair. Raven grabbed her phone.
Raven: Dex, I checked in already. Where are you?
Dexter: Sorry honey. Mom bombarded me with wedding questions. I'm on my way. I should be there in about ten minutes. Love you. <3
Raven: Alright. I'm on the third floor. If I'm not in the waiting room, just go up to one of the nurses and say, I'm looking for Raven Queen. See you soon. Love you.
Raven sat on a chair and started to wait for Dexter as she filled out the sheet of paper she was given. Eight minutes later. "Raven Queen?" A nurse called out. Raven put down a magazine she was reading and stood up. "That's me." The nurse leads Raven to a hallway and took Raven's weight, height, and eyesight. The nurse gave Raven a cup and lead her to the women's restroom. "You know what to do. Right?" Raven grabbed the door handed. "Yes." The nurse started to write down some stuff. "Good. You'll be in room 494, right across the restroom. When you get in there'll be a nightgown on the examining table. I'll be in, in about five minutes." Raven looked at her. "Ok, thank you." And Raven shut the door
Dexter arrived about seven minutes after Raven was called. Dexter walked in hoping to find Raven sitting in the waiting room. But he didn't. He looked around for a nurse that didn't look busy. He walked over to one. "Um, excuse me. I'm looking for Raven Queen. I'm Dexter Charming." The nurse looked at him. "Um, let me ask Bonnie. I think she has Raven as her patient. Please sit down and wait here." Dexter sat down. About three minutes later, The nurse came back. "If you'll fallow me, I'll lead to Raven's room.
Bonnie just finished with Raven, when Dexter walked in. "Dex! I was getting worried." Dexter started to take off his coat. "I'm here now." His kissed Raven on her head. "Doctor Montgomery will be with you shortly." Raven got comfortable. "Ok. Thanks." The nurse nodded, "No problem." And left. "So, did the first part of the appointment go well?" Dexter asked. Raven looked at him. "Yeah. I'm definitely pregnant. They had me do a test, just to make sure." Dexter sat down in a chair near the far right corner. "That's good." Dexter and Raven talked until the doctor came. "Hello. I'm doctor Montgomery. You must be Raven." She walked over to Raven and shook her hand. She had long brown hair, and she had on a blue shirt, with a lighter shade of blue skirt. "Nice to meet you. This is my fiancee Dexter." Raven pointed gestured towards Dexter. "Hello." She shook Dexter's hand. "Hi." Dr. Montgomery sat down on a moveable stool. "Ok, how long have you've known you were pregnant?" "I found out Thursday morning, but I thought I might be pregnant for about a week." Dr. Montgomery wrote down some stuff. "Ok, have you felt any morning sickness yet?" "Yes, I have morning sickness, definitely. It's really bad." Dr. Montgomery looked up at Raven. "How bad are we talking?" "Um, I throw up about every hour now and it lasts for about a half hour. It was every two hours, and it used to last only for about fifteen minutes." Dr. Montgomery asked a couple more questions. "Alright. If you'll follow me, I'll do an Ultrasound on you, Raven." Dexter and Raven followed Dr. Montgomery down two halls and walked into a room. The door was labeled Ultrasound room. "If you'll lay down on the table Raven, and roll up your shirt, I'll begin the Ultrasound on you." Raven laid down on the table, and Dr. Montgomery dimmed the lights. "Alright Raven, this is going to be cold." Dr. Montgomery said as she put some gel on Raven's stomach. "Ah, that is cold!" Dr. Montgomery turned on the ultrasound machine, and grabbed the wand and started to rub the gel all over Raven's stomach. "All right....Let's see." Dr. Montgomery started to move the wand. After moving the wand to a couple spots, they heard a heartbeat. "There we go. Raven, Dexter this is your baby." The doctor pointed to a spot on the ultrasound screen. "Dexter, That's our baby." Dexter kissed the top of Raven's head. "Oh, wait." Dr. Montgomery said. "What! Is something wrong!?!" The Doctor laughed. "No. Raven and Dexter. Meet your baby's. Raven, you're going to have twins." Raven looked at the screen. "Did you say twins!?!" Dr. Montgomery laughed. "I did. You're about a month and a half through your pregnancy, so your baby's are the size of a pea. Cool huh?" Dexter just looked at the screen. "Are twins normal to have for your first pregnancy?" Raven asked. "Well, it really depends on the parent's history. Do you have any twins on either side of the family?" Dexter looked at her. "My sister and I are twins." The doctor smiled "Well, there you have it, Raven. You're more likely to have twins if someone in the family has or are a twin. And since Dexter is a twin, you were even more likely to have twins. But don't worry. I'll tell you everything you need to know about having twins." Raven let out a sigh of relief. "Now, do you want me to take picture of your baby's?" Dexter looked at Raven, and Raven looked at Dr. Montgomery. "Yes."
