Jared heard an Amber alert on his phone.

He still had no glasses his current job at Target didn't pay enough.

He couldn't tell what it said.
So he pulled a person to the side and asked what it said

(Apologizes in advance I don't know what Amber Alerts are like.)

Has brown hair, blue eyes with a little brown in one eye, light skin, and glasses

Jared's eyes widened as the woman read to him. After she was done, she gave him his phone back. He wanted to text Evan to tell him that he doesn't want to be found. But he wasn't sure if that was true. And he couldn't see. That was also a problem.

Evan cried as he fell asleep. He felt guilty for Jared's disappearance. (He should, but poor acorn) He knew it was his fault. Anyone who knew what had happened before Jared going missing would know that.

Jared was walking in the street when he ran into a tall man. The man told him to watch where he was going but Jared then told him that he couldn't. Then the man pulled Jared off to the side of the street into what Jared would assume was an ally. Jared didn't have the strength or the will to refuse.

The man asked Jared if he wanted a smoke. Jared told him he doesn't smoke.

The man asked Jared if he had heard about that kid who went missing. Jared started to get nervous and said he did. The man said that Jared looked a lot like the missing kid. Brown hair, blue eyes with a little brown in one, light skin, and it seemed like he needed glasses at least.

Jared said it was probably coincidence. The man obviously didn't believe him. He then told Jared to turn around.

Jared didn't trust him. Until all of the sudden the man forcefully turned him and placed his hand of Jared's pressure point in the shoulder. He stole Jared's drawstring bag off. Jared couldn't move.

He looked through Jared's bag until he found money and a phone. The man then put them back in the bag and put it on his own back. He quickly turned Jared around and placed his lips an Jared's. Jared tried to resist. The man brought them to the back of the ally, Jared still squirming.

Jared didn't have a chance though. He couldn't see what he was doing and the man seemed to be muscular. Jared felt salty tears run down his face. The man licked them off. Jared cringed.

Although Jared was hoping that he might stop, Jared knew that he wasn't planning on stopping any time soon.

Evan didn't care what his mom said. He didn't care what Connor said. He didn't care what the police said. He was going to find Jared no matter what.
