Chapter 12

*Alyssa's POV*

Morgan came home from Florida today so i invited her over so we could hang out together. I know shes only been gone for a week but it feels like longer. Plus I have that surprise for her. Nash.

"So you know how i said one of my friends liked you" i asked Nash.

"Yeahhh"

"Well she's coming home today. In about in hour. And i invited her over my house." I smiled.

A smirk grew on his face and he turned towards me.

"Really?" he questioned still smirking.

"Yeah" i laughed.

"I gotta get ready now then. I don't want to look like i just woke up. I have to shower and brush my hair a-" he rambled.

"Nash. Come down. You don't need to do that. She'll probably be in sweats anyways. Just be yourself"

He calmed down.

"But what if she doesn't like me" he pouted and looked at the ground.

"Trust me. She does" i assured him.

"Good" he put his hands behind his head and rested back on his chair.

"So what are we going to do today" matt asked while putting his plate in the sink.

"Well Morgan does come home till 12:00, so we have another hour." I said.

"Let's go to the park" Hayes shouted.

"Haha. Okay but I get the swings" Nash called running up the stairs.

"No fair" Hayes chased him.

"I'll be right back ladies. Were gonna get changed and then well head to the park. Sorry for their immaturity" Matt laughed apologizing.

Me and Lizzie were already laughing and that made us laugh more.

"Its okay" i said between laughs.

He ran up the stairs to join them. After about 15 minutes, they came back down.

"Wow. You guys toke a long time" Lizzie laughed.

"What. No we didn't" Nash defended. "Okay fine. We took longer than expected. Let's go to the park now" he yelled running out the door with his arms flying all over the place. Matt and Hayes copied and me and Lizzie sighed and walked out of the door.

When we got their, Nash and Hayes ran to the swings.

"Thats not fair" Hayes complained.

"Why isn't it fair. I got here first. There is another swing right here. why can't you just sit there" Nash questioned.

"Because. I don't like that swing." He stated.

"I'll take it" i sat on the swing next to Nash. "Hey Nash" i smiled.

"Hey Alyssa. How you doing"

"Just swinging" i replied. We laughed at our meaningless conversation.

"Are you sure you don't want to sit here?" i asked Hayes.

"No" he jokingly stomped away.

"Let me go get him so he doesn't get lost" i giggled getting off the swing

I sneaked up behind him and hugged him.

"Ahh" he screamed. "You scared me" he pouted turning around.

"Aww. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to" i put out my bottom lip. "can you please come back over there with us" i asked.

"No"

"Whyyy" i whined.

"Because. I'll go back only if i get a hug" he smirked and tried to hide it.

"Fine" i gave in.

His smile brightened. He wrapped his strong arms around me and i did the same. We didn't talk during the hug but i liked it. It was a long hug too. My favorite. He smelled so good too.

"Let's go back now" i whispered in his ear.

"One more second longer with this hug." he replied quickly

I smiled but he couldn't see it. When he let go, he stared into my eyes. His blue eyes were amazing and so bright. I could get lost in them. He grabbed my hand and we walked back to where everybody else was. Matt and Lizzie were sharing a swing and Nash was on his phone.

He looked up when we were in front of him.

"Ugh. Everybody is in a relationship and i'm not. This stinks" he groaned.

"Not for long. Remember. Morgans coming over. You two will be in a relationship sooner then you think" i told him.

"Yay" he jumped up and down.

"We should start heading back so we won't be late for morgan" Matt said.

We all started heading back. Matt and Lizzie were holding hands and so were me and Hayes. Nash was holding his phone and skipping with it. But he won't be alone for too long.
