Chapter 9

*Hayes POV*

So Nash invited Matt over and they played basketball. It was me and Matt against Lizzie and Nash. Alyssa didn't want to play cause she said there would be an uneven amount so see sat out. They were winning but not by far and the game was almost over.

"WWWOOOOOOO" Nash yelled, "thats another 2 points. Which means the game is over. And we won" he high gives Lizzie and grabbed a water bottle. He tossed one to all of us.

I sat down next to Alyssa after the game.

"Remember how i said i wanted to hang out with you today?" i whispered to her.

"Yeah" she replied.

"Wanna go now?" i asked hopeful.

"Yeah sure. Let me just tell Lizzie" she got up and sat by Lizzie. As she was talking a big grin spread across Lizzie's face. Lizzie whispered back to her and Alyssa blushed. I wonder what they were saying?

"Okay. I'm ready to go" she said, "Nash, Matt and Lizzie are going to watch movies, so we should have a long time"

"Great" i said. We started walking to the park. I remember how far it was cause i passed it when I was coming here. When we got there we sat on the swings.

"So whats your favorite thing to do?" she asked breaking the silence.

"I like to play football and pennyboard"

"No way? Really?" she asked sounding shocked and surprised.

"Yeah why?"

"I have always wanted to learn how to penny board"

"Maybe I could teach you sometime" i told her. Her face lit up and she smiled.

"Okay next question. Whats your favorite colors?" i asked her.

"Pink and blue"

"I'll keep that in mind" i said and she giggled. We both just sat their swinging and having small talk.

*Alyssa's POV*

Hayes and I were sitting on the swings and talking. It was really nice. I never thought i could have this much fun just by talking to someone.

After about an hour of small talk, we decided to go back. As we were walking back i felt Hayes' hand next to mine. He grabbed my hand and i smiled. We walked like that the whole way back. Even though it was a short walk, i was happy.

When we got in the house, we didn't see anybody. We went downstairs, cause Hayes thought they would be down there. Sure enough, Nash, Matt, and Lizzie we on the couch watching a TV. Lizzie was passed out on Matt's chest and Nash and Matt were up.

"Hey" they said when we came down.

"Hey" i replied. I sat on the couch next to Nash and Hayes sat next to me. I was comfortable. I really liked my new neighbors
