Moon was poking through the dirt looking for her eggs.
"Moon!" yelled Winter behind her. Moon ignored him and kept looking for her eggs.
"Moon." Winter said as he found her looking under a furn. It had been almost a week since she had last seen him. He had many small cuts and his eyes were red and puffy with dark circles underneath.
"Moon I know I don't deserve this but let me make it up to you." Winter pleaded.
"I want to help find our eggs. I want to put my mistake behind us so we can find them. I know I don't deserve to be forgiven but please." Winter said.
Moon turned around and pounced on him.
"Please don't hurt me." Winter pleaded to moon who was on top of him inches from his face. Moon quickly closed the space in between them and kissed him. Winter cried of joy and wrapped her in his wings as the kiss got deeper and deeper. When they stopped winter said.
"Let's go find those eggs." and they ran further into the forest. Not noticing a second bloody talon print going the opposite direction.
