For a human who was about to go up against vampires, Kahlen was almost too calm. Why wasn't she begging to be spared? Why wasn't she worried? It irritated Caius to no end as he thought about whom their 'guest' would be up against. Though Demetri expected nothing less from the young woman.

"Brother, have you made your decision?" Aro asked.

The blonde's eyes scanned the room from the chair before landing on Kahlen standing off to the right.

"Alec... Jane..."

A smirk was ever growing on his lips. Time to see this mortal break down in front of them.

"Demetri... and Felix."

Oh how he would relish in the sight of the blood draining from her face out of fear facing four formidable enemies.

"Don't you think that is a bit much?" Marcus questioned.

"You did not limit my choice," Caius snapped. "That is my final ruling on the matter."

This wasn't a fair fight, Demetri shouted in his head.

His fellow guard members began to gather on the opposite side of the hall. Kahlen said nothing, moving more towards the center. After his brief hesitation the vampire joined Felix's side as they removed their cloaks to allow themselves more movement. And then the tracker turned to watch the human remove her own jacket given by Heidi. The dark haired vampire had a ball in the market earlier this month shopping for their new addition seeing as she had no clothing to wear upon arriving. Kahlen refused to utilize the given dresses already in the closet. Demetri couldn't understand why, though. Dresses could look ravishing on any figure with the right fit and there were a few he eyed in the closet that he thought would look exceptionally appealing on her. But his mind was dragged away upon watching the young woman prepare to face off against them.

The tracker honestly hated to admit how alluring she appeared. The spandex leggings left little to the imagination accenting her delicious curves in all the right ways. Even the turtleneck she sported that hid most of the skin outlined the young woman's body. And when the human reached up to tighten the hair bun Demetri forced himself not to lick his lips as the smooth stomach underneath peeked out from the raised hem. Damn tease.

"We are ready to begin when you are," Aro's voice broke his thoughts.

The young woman cocked a brow while stretching an arm, "Me? I was waiting for them."

Alec growled in warning, wanting to do nothing more than get started. But the Guard knew who would get the first attack in. Caius glared. His attempt to frighten the human had not gone as planned. What mortal didn't fear them? And before he could comment on the smart remark, Aro stated,

"Begin."

Demetri grew intrigued when Kahlen smirked in an almost 'come-hither' manner. Felix rushed forward and threw around a fist. The vampires' waited to hear the sickening crunch of human bone from the contact and the twins watched in anticipation of her pain through screams. Yet Demetri grew nervous and tense.

The young woman sidestepped the swift blow with ease much to their surprise, the smirk never leaving the human's lips. Brows furrowing in concentration, Felix tried again with little success. Arms swinging wildly in order to capture Kahlen and keep her still managed to be more of a problem than they thought. For some reason this made the tracker excited once more.
