Dear Niall,
July 9I'm sorry I didn't come over yesterday and today. I had other things going on.
I went to Louis' house yesterday.
I rode my bike to his house and walked up his long driveway, all the way up to his front door. My heart was pounding in my chest and my hands shook as they reached up to knock on the door.
"Oh, Elle!" Mrs. Tomlinson smiled as she pulled open the front door. "Come in, come in."
"Thank you, Mrs. Tomlinson." I managed a smile that probably looked more like a grimace and followed her into the kitchen, where I sat on a barstool at the counter.
"I'll just go get Louis." She told me and I nodded politely before she scurried upstairs.I wiped my sweaty palms on my jeans and tried to take some deep breaths.
"Elle?" Louis' voice said behind me.
"Louis," I turned around and smiled.
"Uh, hey." I noticed he couldn't look me in the eye.
"Hey," I grinned. "Where've you been?"
"Oh, you know," He ran his fingers through his hair. "I've just been busy."
"Oh," I said. "Right. Yeah, sure. Yeah, I get it."
"So, how've you been?" He asked.
"Um, okay I guess. What about you?"
"I've been good." He looked at the ground. "I've missed you though." He took a step closer.
"I've missed you, too." I blushed.No.
No I can't, Niall. I can't tell you about everything that came next.
Love,
EllleDear Elle,
July 9You didn't come over yesterday. Or the day before that. You didn't even knock on the door.
I'm sure you were with that guy. Not me, no. I'm just Niall, not your boyfriend. Not special. Not important.
Love,
Niall
