"Hey, guys!" I greet my friends who are hanging out by my door. "Sorry for the wait, I was at the gym."

"What happened to your face?" Khloe gasps.

"This guy from the gym kind of hates me, and well, he picked a fight." I shrug, unlocking the door and going in.

"Woah, is your accent thicker than usual? Do you guys hear that?" Matt comments as they all walk in, Matt closing the door behind him.

"Yeah, it's like she was reunited with her family again. You know, because each time she comes back, her accent gets thick. Then it thins out after hanging out with us." Nelly nods her head to what Khloe says.

"I bet it's the boy. Is he British too? I bet that's why you're so drawn to him!" Nelly exclaims.

"A boy!?" Khloe squeals, plopping herself down on my couch. "Matt, get me some juice, please?"

"Yeah, Liz went on a date last night!" Nelly tells Khloe, sitting down next to Khloe on the couch.

I simply roll my eyes and go back to my room, tossing my gym bag on the floor. I grab some pajama pants and a t-shirt before jumping into the shower to wash off all the sweat.

I normally take extremely long showers, but since friends are over, I took a five minute shower. Meaning, I didn't adjust the water temperature a thousand times, I immediately soaked my hair, shampooing and conditioning it. Then I lathered my body with soap, and shaved only my arm pits. Shaving the legs takes like five minutes itself.

Once I got out, I quickly changed into my clothes. I walk out of the washroom, shaking my hair in the towel to help dry it.

"You left me on a cliff hanger!" Khloe exclaims when I come back into the living room. I open my mouth to answer her, but a knock on the front door stops me.

"Who's that?" Nelly asks, kissing Matt on the cheek when he brings her some wine.

"I don't know. Khloe, you're not drinking, are you? I don't want these two walking home drunk." I motion towards the couple.

"No drinking for tonight." Khloe sighs, shaking her head. "But Friday is another story."

I laugh, nodding my head as I go to the door.

I open the door, propping it up on my hip as I continue to dry my hair with the towel.

"Tom?" I'm surprised. I glance back at my friends before stepping out into the hallway, but not before tossing my towel on the couch. I close the door behind me, giving my full attention to him. "What's up?"

"You, uh, left your phone in the car." Tom chuckles, handing me the phone.

"Oh, thanks." I blush, taking the phone.

"I tried calling you, and well, yeah, that didn't work." Tom laughs, which causes me to laugh.

"I would've picked up, but I didn't hear it go off." I simply shrug. "Um, you know those friends that I told you about last night?"

"Yeah?" Tom nods.

"Well, they're inside. I would've let you in, but they would've freaked and I didn't want you getting scared off. But, would you like to meet them?" I ask, gesturing to the door. "And I know you're extremely tired, so if you don't want to meet them now, that's a hundred percent okay because you'll meet them Friday. You know what, you'll just meet them Friday. I don't want to take more of your energy because they naturally do that."

"Liz, breathe." Tom chuckles, putting his hands on my shoulders. I laugh, laying my head on his shoulder.

"Sorry, I babble a lot." I blush, lifting my head back up to look at him.
