"We definitely should have played that out better..." I mutter to Tom.

"We? You mean, you right? I didn't say anything." Tom snickers, picking up some foods and putting them on his plate. I stick my tongue out at him, grabbing my foods and pushing him out of the way.

"Liz!" Mum gushes, coming to stand in front of me, blocking my way from the food. "You're pregnant? And you're getting married?! Why didn't you tell me?"

"Mum, can we talk about this after I eat? I'm starving." I groan, reaching for a spoonful of mac n cheese.

"Of course, of course. But, I will be grilling you two." Mum points at Tom and I before walking away.

"Should I be scared?" Tom whispers in my ear.

"No, you'll just feel overwhelmed and annoyed." I chuckle.

We finish getting our food before we find a seat on one of the many blankets laid out in the backyard. As Tom and I start eating, the more everyone begins to crowd around us. Harry just stands there and laughs at us as our family gets desperate.

"So, how did it happen?" Nikki asks once she's sat down.

"Well, the penis enters the-"

"Dad!" Harry groans, a tint of pink rising to his cheeks.

"Awe, Harry, have you not heard about human reproduction?" I smirk, taking a bite of my food.

"Shut up, Lizzie." Harry flips me off, causing me to howl out in laughter.

"I was talking about the engagement." Nikki comments, slapping Dom on the chest.

"Well..." I start, looking up at Tom. "How about you tell the story..."

"Want to tell them everything or skip the details?" Tom whispers to me.

"No! We want to know exactly how it went down!" Grandmum cuts in, beaming with excitement, just like everyone else.

"Hello!" Harrison's voice suddenly bursts from inside the house.

"Harrison!" Tom shouts, jumping up and sprinting inside the house. I glare at him, giving him the birdie as he runs away.

"Tell us!" Mum pushes.

"Okay, okay. It gets gruesome..." I warn them. "Just bare with me, okay guys?" I start off. They all nod with suspicion. "Okay, well, I've been really emotionally lately and it was just chaotic. So, I was the last one to go to the pool and when I walked in, I saw this girl flirting with Tom. My emotions were already all over the place, so I just assumed the wrong things. So, I stormed out of there, leaving Harry in mid conversation. I left the hotel, only wearing my swimsuit and a thin cover-up. It was not smart on my end. I was just walking and minding my own business, Tom came after me, but I just wanted to be alone.

"Being late at night and all, I got jumped by these three guys. They probably wanted to rape me or something, but they held me with a knife to my throat. Tom came in and they didn't like that. No matter how much I told him to run because his face does matter, being a movie star and all..." I pause to hear Tom's groan of annoyance and everyone's chuckle. "We both kicked their asses and we both got a little cut on the arm and I got a black eye from it. We argued a bit before Tom smoothly asked me to marry him."

"Awww!" The mum's chorus. Tom comes back over to me, kissing me on the forehead before sitting back down next to me. He pulls me into his side, so I lean on him and cuddle into him.

"Now, you can tell them how we found out I'm pregnant." I smile up at Tom. Tom frowns ever so slightly, looking up at our family.

"We were walking around and we were kissing, then she suddenly got sick. Who gets sick kissing me? No one, that's who. That's how I knew it was serious." Tom jokes, I roll my eyes and jab him in the side with my elbow. "I had to drag her stubborn ass back to the hotel where I had called a doctor. He ran some tests and told us that she's pregnant. Then we told Harrison, who told us to take pregnancy tests, we did, and almost all of them came out positive."

Everyone begins to bombard us with questions, which we don't answer because they all mix together.

Eventually, they all take turns asking questions, and eventually the questions wonder off to how Mexico was. The night was filled with stories and of laughter, good times and good memories.

"Are you nervous?" Tom asks as we prepare to go to the baby doctor.

"Kind of, are you?" I ask, tying my shoes.

"Yeah." Tom says, nibbling on his bottom lip. "But we don't have a reason to be. Right?"

"Right."

Tom leans over and pecks my lips, taking my hand into his. The whole way to the doctor, Tom's hand was on my bouncing thigh. We were both nervous and we didn't know why. Maybe because we don't know what's going to happen.

Maybe we're more anxious than we are nervous? Or are those the same thing?

"We're here." Tom mumbles, putting the car in park.

"Bloody hell." I mutter under my breath, looking out the window.

"Come on." Tom pats my leg as he gets out. I sigh and do the same, taking his hand as we walk into the building.

When we walk in, we are welcomed by a couple of babies with their mums in the waiting room.

"I'm gonna go check you in." Tom says, kissing the side of my head.

Tom leaves me and I awkwardly go find a place to sit. Once I sit down, I'm approached by a little girl. She smiles and shyly hands me one of her dolls.

"Will you play with me?" She asks softly.

"Of course! What's your name?" I smile, leaning forward, taking the doll from her.

"Rosie."

"Well, hi, Rosie. I'm Liz. What's this girl's name?" I ask, pointing to the doll.

"Um, Sydney." She giggled. "Mine's name is Lexi."

After Rosie and I played a little bit with her dolls, most of it was me cracking jokes and tickling her, her mom called her over, leaving me to a smiling Tom.

"What are you looking at?" I raise an eyebrow, sitting back in my chair.

"The most perfect girl I've ever met." Tom smiles. I roll my eyes and blush, shaking my head at him. "I love you."

"I love you too." Tom sits down next to me, taking my hand and intertwining our fingers.

"I can't believe we're already a month and a half along." I tell Tom as we get in the car. "We've gone this long without knowing this thing was growing in me..."

"This is crazy. We're going to be parents." Tom mumbles as he drives us home. "I can't believe this."

"I-I, I'm kind of scared, Tom." I admit. Tom sighs, placing his hand on my thigh, stroking his thumb back and forth.

"Me too. But I know you're going to be the best mum out there."

"How do you know?"

"Because I saw you with that little girl. It was like second nature for you." Tom smiles over at me. "I know you're going to be a great role model."

"What about you?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Well, I won't be around much because of my new film in Canada."

"Wait. What?" I snap, turning to look at him full on. "When did you plan on telling me you were moving to Canada without me?"

"I just found out I got the part, okay? I was going to tell you ASAP, but there just wasn't a good time."

"Wasn't a good time? I'm sorry my pregnancy got in the way." I roll my eyes, turning away and crossing my arms over my chest.

"Liz, come on. I'm sorry, darlin." Tom sighs, trying to get me to look at him.
