So, it's been three days since the whole disagreeing. Pappy and I have been avoiding each other this whole time. Even when I'm at his place hanging with Gran, he'll come into the room, just stare at me, ask Gran something, then he'll walk right back out. He won't say a word to me, won't glare, smile, nothing but stare.

But, today is the day that Tom will be flying back in. His parents don't know what time or if it's today or tomorrow, so I'm going to be the one who picks him and Harrison up at the airport and drive them to their homes.

To say I'm excited would be a big understatement.

Tom is officially my best friend. We bond in more than one way, it's absolutely amazing. It just warms my heart every time I think about it.

Mum's not working today, so she's at home waiting with me until I have to go and pick him up. We're currently watching one of mum's TV shows, but in reality, she's playing on her tablet thing and I'm writing short stories.

I set a reminder on my phone and everything, so when it went off, I leaped off the recliner chair and nearly sprinted out of the house. No, I did sprint out of the house. I snatched the keys and was out of there.

I drove to the London airport, I parked and I sprinted inside to where he'd be coming from. I can't stand still because I'm so excited. I'm dressed in my cute skinny blue jeans, a long sleeved white shirt tucked in, and I had my black jacket on over it. And black vans on my feet. My hair is thrown up in a ponytail because it was being a brat this morning and I couldn't do anything else with it.

Once I saw people coming out of the designated area, going to their designated drivers, I got even more excited.

"Lizzie!" Tom and Harrison exclaim loudly, causing my eyes to snap to them immediately. I grin and run to them. Tom drops his bag and instantly picks me up. Yes, we discussed that we wanted to do this, that way we're being cliché.

"Tom!" I laugh, wrapping my arms around his neck, my legs around his torso. "Ugh! It's been forever!"

"Way too long!" Tom mumbles, setting me back on the ground. Tom pulls me closer to him, smashing his lips onto mine. I smile against his lips, kissing him back immediately.

"Okay, my turn." Harrison jokes, pushing us apart. He pulls me into a hug, causing Tom to pout. "Where's my kiss?"

"Tom can kiss you." I smile sweetly. Tom reacts immediately, tackling him, pretending to kiss him, causing me to laugh. "I definitely missed you two."

I grab one of their bags each before walking towards the exit of the airport. I lead the way to the car, putting their luggage into the trunk.

"I'm driving!" Harrison shouts, trying to snatch the keys out of my hands, but I moved them away.

"No, this is my mum's car." I shake my head, getting in the driver's seat.

"But you don't know where we live." Harrison points out.

"That's what a GPS is for."

I dropped Harrison off first, then I drove to Tom's house.

"Are you excited to see your family?" I ask him.

"Oh yes." Tom nods, a grin still on his face.

"Why are you grinning so much?"

"Because I get to see my beautiful girlfriend and my family in the same day. This is a great day." Tom breathes in deeply. "I'm so excited. Mum has been talking nonstop about when I'm going to get home. She says granddad is in dire need of a golfing buddy. I can't wait to kick his ass. I've gotten better while in Atlanta."
