It's finally Friday. I've been waiting for this day. I went to an illegal fighting area last night, fighting for money and looking for a new manager. So far, I have no luck. So, today, I have fresh bruises and cuts, but I'm still excited to see Tom again.

I texted Tom the details of the cookout, and he informed me that he'd be a little late, but for sure will be there.

I want to look cute, because well, he's only seen my in my gym clothes and my comfy clothes. So, I chose a black and white romper. I'm like hardcore digging it. I matched it with a cute pair of sandals.

I'm leaving my hair down, and I applied mascara and eyeliner as my makeup. I throw on a light black jacket over the romper in case I get cold. It happens.

Matt lives a ways away from me, so I did take a cab to Matt's place. Good thing too, because I plan on drinking tonight. And I hope that I don't make a fool of myself in front of Tom. But if he doesn't like who I am when I'm drunk, then that's an issue.

As I walked into Matt's place, I was greeted with orders to help set up.

"You do realize I'm five minutes late, right? You should already be ready." I tell Matt, picking up one of the speakers and carrying it outside.

"Yeah, everyone keeps reminding me." Matt grunts, carrying a speaker as well. We both set them down on the stage in his tiny backyard.

My phone begins to buzz, signaling a call. I pull it out and am surprised to see Tom calling.

"Hey." I answer, waving Matt off when he groans, saying something about how he needs help.

"Hey, uh, so I'm running a bit later than I originally thought. They want me to do this last stunt, then I'll get out of the suit, freshen up, then I'll be on my way." Tom explains, sounding a little winded.

"Take your time." I chuckle. "So, you're in the suit right now?"

"Yes..." Tom trails off in a questioning tone.

"Can I pretty please with a big red cherry on top have a picture of you in it! Plus, you need a contact photo." I explain, heat rising to my cheeks.

"Okay, on one condition." Tom replies, I can literally hear his smirk just by the way he's talking. "You owe me a kiss."

"You're slick, Tom Holland. Alright, deal." I smile, biting my lip.

"See yah soon, Liz." Tom says.

"I will because you're sending me a picture." I stifle a laugh.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."

"See yah." I laugh, hanging up.

Two minutes later, I get a text from Tom.
