"How've you girls been?" Nikki asks as she sits down across from me at the restaurant table.

"Good." Mum and grandmum answers, I just nod in agreement.

"How have you been, Liz? Anything new with the pregnancy?" Nikki asks, grinning at me.

"No, I don't think so, but I think a bump should be coming soon." I smile back, sipping at my water. "I've gained just a tad bit of weight recently."

"Yay!" Mum squeals. "I'm so excited for this grandbaby!"

"I'll get a great grandbaby!" Grandmum squeals, squeezing mum's hands across the table.

"This is so exciting! You'll have three mum figures to help you through the pregnancy! This is going to be so awesome!" Nikki comments.

As the four of us ate breakfast, they shared some stories about their pregnancies and what it was like when the baby came along. It was sweet and nice at the same time, but it only seemed to make me even more nervous about this whole thing. There's just this feeling in the pit of my stomach that tells me that I'm going to end up doing something totally wrong.

"Have you talked to Tom recently?" Nikki asks.

"Last night. We call everyday before  I go to sleep." I smile. "No matter where he is, he always calls."

"Awe, he's so sweet." Mum mumbles with a smile on her face.

"I wish he was like that when he was younger." Nikki teases. Nikki begins sharing stories about the boys when they were younger, mum exchanging a few of her own.

After we ended up eating breakfast for about two hours, I finally told them it was time for me to leave.

They all paid the meal for me, which left me very thankful. I have to be more strict on my money spending because I don't have so much money. Tom sends me a check every once and a while, but I only use it for the bills and necessities.

I drove home from the restaurant, one of the perks of Tom not being in the same country. When he's home, he's always driving and he never lets me drive. I'm driving as much as I can until Tom's back, as well as taking up the whole bed.

He's gonna have to get used to me star-fishing when he comes back, 'cause there's no way in hell that I'm gonna change my sleeping habits for him.

Once I got back home, I immediately showered. The food must've not been settling right because I wasn't feeling good and some nice hot water always makes you feel better.

As I was washing the conditioner out of my hair-my favorite smell, which is the cliché coconut, but it smells good, so suck it-intense stomach cramps occur. Me, who was once a boxer, one who experiences extreme pain for a job, I couldn't handle the pain. The pain spread from my abdomen to my back.

I was sobbing from the intense amount of pain, I fell to my knees in the shower, I was screaming from the pain. To top it all off, blood began to run down the drain, terror running throughout me.

I manage to grab my phone, which was luckily next to my towel next to the sink. I quickly call mum, she picks up on the second ring.

"Hey, darling." Mum chirps.

"Mum." I sob, clutching onto the side of the tub as the pain waves throughout my body.

"Liz?!" Mum shrieks. "What's wrong? I'm on my way!"
