"So? What'd the doctor say?" Tom asks as I get into the car.
"He said I still have to wear the boot." I huff, closing the door aggressively once I'm in.
"That just means you're still healing." Tom says, but he's soon distracted by the people around him. "Babe, I've got to go. They need me again. I'm sorry, I promise I'll talk to you as soon as I can."
"Okay," I give a lopsided smile. "Be careful, good luck." Tom hangs up and I put my phone in the cup holder before squealing.
So, I lied. I don't need the boot anymore, and I don't need the brace for my wrist. My ribs are healed, my wrist is healed, and my foot is healed enough to not need the boot. Though, I can't do any exercising for a little while longer, but now I'm fine!
Tom had to go back to Atlanta to shoot his movie, but I couldn't just yet, so I had to stay behind. But, Harrison and I have been talking and I'm flying out this morning, surprising him tonight at the house that Marvel is providing the two.
So, now I'm heading to the airport.
Once I landed, I got an immediate text from Harrison.
From: The Harry Son:
Do you think you could stop by set to see Tom? He's not having such a good day and I think seeing you now would really brighten up his day...Of course I will go see him now! I texted him saying I'm on my way to the apartment to drop my things off, then I'll be on my way to the set.
It seemed to take an eternity before I was standing by the gate to enter the set. I waited until Harrison showed up to escort me in, telling the security guards that I'm good.
"Hey." Harrison pulls me into a side hug. "No boot?"
"No more boot!" I smile, biting my lip.
"Okay, come on, he's in the middle of doing a stunt. I can't wait to see his reaction to seeing you." Harrison mumbled to me, leading me behind a whole bunch of equipment, crouching down a bit.
I watch as Tom does a black flip stunt thing in the suit while he has the wire things connected to him.
He barely lands it, and he shouts in anger, punching the nearest thing to him.
"Come on, get your ass up and do it better!" I shout, coming out from hiding. "Even I can do that better than you!"
Tom's head snaps to the direction of my voice, he goes to take the mask off, but I stop him.
"You ain't gonna come over here until you do that right." I raise an eyebrow.
"Again, again, again!" Tom shouts, stumbling to go back to his original spot.
He did it successfully, turning to look at me once he finishes. He jumps down, taking his mask off and grinning at me.
"Was that good enough for you?" Tom asks breathless.
"Nope, I think you can do it better." I shrug, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Can I get a kiss first?" Tom suggests. I shake my head, motioning for him to do it again.
"Do it better. You still stumbled a bit on the landing." I inform him.
"Okay, how'd the flip look? Was it too sloppy?" Tom asks, going back to the mark.
"A little, try doing it just a tad bit tighter." I nod. "You're a super hero, not Billy Elliot."
Harrison snickers from beside me, causing me to smile up at him. Tom gives me a sarcastic laugh before putting the mask back on properly, then doing the flip pretty much perfectly.
