"Ah no." Tom frowns, looking at his phone. "I've got to go. I have an extremely busy day tomorrow."

"It is eleven o'clock." I laugh.

"Serious?" Tom goes wide eyed, which causes me to laugh again.

Tom and I get up and I start to walk to the door, but he doesn't follow. I stop and turn to look at him, giving him a questioning look.

"I can't just leave you with this mess." Tom raises an eyebrow, picking up the trash.

"No, no, no. I've got it. You need to go, it's okay, Tom." I laugh, taking the trash out of his hands, putting it back on the table.

"I can't-"

"You can. You will." I laugh, taking his hands and pulling him to the door. "See? You can, and you did."

Tom rolls his eyes, but a smile still on his face.

"I had fun tonight." Tom tells me.

"Me too, we need to do this again." I bite my lip. Then an idea pops up into my head. "Um, actually, I know you're busy and shit. But, my friend Matt is hosting this cook out and I'm supposed to bring a date...I totally understand if you don't want to and stuff, but I'd like you to be my date and-"

"Was this, tonight, a date?" Tom cuts me off. I shut my mouth and look up into his eyes.

"Uhm, I don't know. Was it to you?"

"I'm hoping it was." Tom smiles sweetly.

"Then, yes it was." I grin, biting my lip.

"Then I guess I'll be your date." Tom nods. "I might not make it there right on time, but I promise I'll make it."

"Are you sure? Because I know you're busy and all. You're surely going to be exhausted. You know what, never mind I asked. I don't want you to be exhausted." I shake my head, going to open the door, but Tom tightens his hold on my hands.

My heart skips a beat when I realize we're still holding hands. It just feels so right.

"Liz, I'm sure. I think Friday is my less busy day." Tom says, raking his mind for the information.

"Really?"

"Really." Tom smiles. "Just text me the details."

"I will."

"I'll see you Thursday, at the gym, yeah?"

"Not tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow is a filming day." Tom informs me.

"Ohh, okay." I nod, comprehending the information. "Then, I'll see you Thursday."

"Um, how would you feel about texting until I next see you?" Tom asks, a slight blush rising to his cheeks.

"I'd love it." I chuckle. "Okay, you really need to go."

"I do." Tom agrees, letting go of my hand to open the door.

Tom surprises me by bringing me into a hug, holding me tightly. It's like our bodies were molded for each other. He makes the butterflies in my stomach transform into dinosaurs who like to roar at the top of their big lungs.

"See you later, Liz."

"Bye, Tom Holland from the gym." I wink, pulling out of his embrace, instantly missing his warmth that spread over me.

Tom laughs, walking out the door, closing it behind me.

Once I was sure he was gone, I squealed, launching myself onto the couch.
