"Why are you ignoring him, again?" Sam asks as we walk around the town.

"Because he didn't tell me he was even auditioning for this film, in Canada." I remind him, frowning.

"He's miserable, you know. He keeps asking about you. He's blowing up my phone."

"Well, he kept this life altering secret from me." I mutter. "And it's not like he never sees me. We live together."

"You're making him sleep in the guest bed, Liz." Sam reminds me.

"Yeah, because I'm mad." I huff, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Well, just make up already. You two's conflict is putting a grey cloud on everything." Sam says strongly. "We like the happy Tom. And the happy Liz. So just kiss and make up already."

"No! He hasn't done anything to say he's sorry. He's been ignoring me." I argue.

"He's giving you space, Liz." Sam reasons.

"So?"

"He knows you like he knows Spider-Man. He knows you want space."

"I just want to know why he didn't tell me about Chaos Walking." I sigh, covering my face with my hands. "Why did he feel like he needed to keep that from me? I thought we told each other everything? And now we've spent four days of our time together not even together."

"Go talk to him about it. Right now. He's at home with mum." Sam tells me. "And would you look at that, we are here."

"I hate you." I glare at him.

"I'm his brother, he comes first. Sorry, Liz." Sam chuckles.

"I chose you because I knew Harry is on Tom's side. I was hoping you'd be on mine." I stick my tongue out at him.

"Good luck!" Sam smirks, walking to the backyard.

I purse my lips, sighing, then walking into the house.

"Liz?" Nikki says with surprise when I walk in. "Does Tom know you're here?"

"I'm actually hoping to talk to him." I give her a small smile.

"Oh! I'm so glad you two are working things out!" She squeals, prancing off to the staircase. "Tom! Get your ass up here!"

"Why?" Tom grumbles.

"Because!" Nikki turns and smiles at me. I return her smile, biting my lip nervously.

"What do you want, mum? I'm sulking." Tom mumbles, finally appearing at the top of the stairs, his hair is a total mess, but it's a hot mess, and he's wearing his lazy clothes, which only make him look even more hot.

"You have a visitor." Nikki smirks, walking away.

"Liz? Look, I'm so sorry I didn't tell you about the film. I really am, I just didn't want to get your hopes up and I knew that it'd complicate things once we found out you were pregnant. There was never a good time to tell you after-"

"Can we walk and talk?" I ask him, cutting him off.

"Uh, ye-yeah." Tom nods, quickly coming to the very top of the stairs. "Bye, mum!"

"Call me later!" Nikki shouts as we head to the door. Tom quickly slips on his shoes as we walk out of the house.

We awkwardly and silently walk down the sidewalk, both of us keeping to ourselves. Finally, after a couple of steps, I couldn't take it anymore. I stopped, causing Tom to stop. I took in a deep breath and snaked my arms around his waist. Tom immediately hugged me back, hugging me tightly.
