Keegan POV

So Jason has been around all week. I would wake up to flowers at my door every other day. He didn't know the last thing about space.Space was what I asked for but it was the last thing I wanted. I wanted him to stay in the house but of course he stayed at a hotel.

I didn't want to make it easy on him. I was playing hard to get and he was eating it all up. 

Work seemed to be breezy and Jason popped up every now and then. The staff liked him and they seemed to enjoy his company a lot.

"I think he's coming in to see Keegan everyday" Landy said smiling from ear to ear. "That isn't true" I smiled. It was totally true but I wasn't going to admit that I noticed his presence when he walked through the door. I see him every time and he looks around until our eyes meet. Then he smiles that handsome smile! Snap out of it!

"I mean we are beautiful women but he seems to only have eyes for you. Tried to flirt just got a small chuckle then he asked for you" Smiley said smiling. She was always smiling so we called her smiley. Her real name was Monica. I really like these women up here.

Sure enough Jason was in the restaurant again this evening. Smiling and talking to waiters and waitress. "I'll be back" I said leaving the kitchen and making my way over to Jason's table.  I didn't even realize it, but I was fixing my clothing and my hair and had to stop myself.

"You sure don't know space do you?" I questioned with humor in my voice. "I don't know what you're talking about Love" He said with a straight face and looked back down at his menu. Right.

"This happens to be my favorite place in town with a big variety of food. I like to explore my options but I much rather have one thing" He said suggestively. "Jason what can I get you today?" I said trying not to smile at him. "I'll have a water and maybe some of this pasta here" He said winking at me.

I couldn't help the blush that was about to come to my face. "Right away" I said before trying to make my escape. "Oh Keegan" He said making me stop in my tracks. My blush was making me super red. "Yes" I said not turning to look at him.

"You look beautiful today" Let's talk about this whole new blush that graced my face. "Thank you" I said with my back stilled turned.

Finally walking out and to the kitchen putting in his order. "Hmm Jason got you blushing today now don't he?" Monica said smiling. "No. Not him it's someone else" I said lying to myself. "I know when you're lying Keegan" Landy said laughing.

"Yeah yeah yeah" I said as I laughed along with them. The day seemed to have passed quickly and we were finally closing. As usual I was the last one out letting everyone go. I walked out and sure enough Jason was waiting for me like every night.

"Thank you Jason" I said as he began walking me to my car. I unlocked my car door and began to open the door only to have it shut.

"Jason. What can I do for you?" I asked turning and facing him. "Go to dinner with me tomorrow Keegan" He said looking me in my eyes.

"Jason you know I can't. I'll be busy all this week." I lied. "Come on now Keegan. Stop running from me. Just one night I promise love bug" he pleaded.

"Jason..." "Just say yes Keegan you know you want to. If not we can just have dinner at your place" He said interrupting me.

"Ok Jason. Fine. Pick me up tomorrow at 7. I'll take tomorrow off" I said. "Then how about we chill all day. You know if you want to?" he said innocently. Just him pleading for my time and trying to spend time with me made me all happy inside. He looked so handsome today and I didn't have the guts to let him know.

"Do you wanna come over tonight?" I questioned not thinking before I spoke. "I mean only if you want to... You don't have to though. I'd understand. We can watch a movie or something. I don't know" I said finally catching my breath.

"Yeah. I'd love to come by tonight" He said smiling from ear to ear. "Ok well I'll see you at my place" I said getting into the car.

Soon after he was on the road trailing me. It seemed like it was taking forever to get to my place. I don't know why I was so nervous.

We finally pulled up to my place and we finally made it inside. "Make yourself comfortable. I'll pop some popcorn. Pick something for us to watch" I said going into the kitchen.

When the popcorn was finished I walked back into the living room and sure enough Jason was sitting on the couch looking through the movies. "Did ya find something?" I asked sitting on the other side of the couch. "No. What do you wanna watch?" he asked.

"I don't know something scary sounds good" I could never watch scary movies alone I was too chicken. "Alright. Scary movie it is" He said hitting play on any scary movie. We ended up watching The Conjuring and it was good.

It seemed like I got closer and closer during the movie to the point I was clinging to Jason. The movie was so good but I didn't remember finishing it. I felt my body being lifted and I cracked my eyes open only to see Jason carrying me up the stairs.

I don't think he knew I was awake so I pretended to be sleep. He eventually made his way into my room where he pulled the cover back and laid me down gently. He kissed my cheek and I smiled a little. His gestures were so cute and I just wanted him to hold me.

He turned my light out and began to walk out the room. "Jason" I whispered. "Yes Keegan" he said coming back towards the bed.

"Where you going?" "I'm gonna head back to my room" He said smiling down at me. "Get some rest Keegan" he said kissing my forehead.

"Look its super late just stay the night" I said seriously. "Geesh I haven't even taken you out on a date and you're already trying to get me in your bed" He said with humor.

I couldn't help but laugh. "Come on I'd feel bad if you drove this late. You sleep at that end and I'll sleep up here" Plus there was no way I was sleeping in this house alone after watching that damn scary movie. 

"Fine but keep your space Keegan" He winked. "Goodnight love bug." He said in the dark. "Goodnight Jason" I said.

I was glad that I invited him over and even more glad that I invited him to stay. Believe it or not Jason was good company to keep. The more time we spent together the more I actually liked him and the more I wanted to be with him.
