Sofia's Pov
I want to be alone. I don't want to talk to them. "Fia, buksan mo yung pinto" My brother shouted while knocking on my door.
"Please, open it" Humina na yung boses niya. "Open up with me. I will help you" I was thinking if mom and dad will let me stay here alone.
Aalis na kasi kami papuntang canada because of dad's business.
Mom said that we need to stay there temporarily. Pero sabi ni Dad na we will stay there for good
Pumasok si kuya sa kwarto ko at umupo siya sa mini couch ko at humarap sa akin. "Tell me kung bakit ayaw mong sumama sa amin?" Tanong agad ni kuya.
Hindi ko alam kung anong sasabihin ko. "Do you want to stay here alone? Dad will not let that happen" He said. I know ayaw din ni kuya na maiwan ako dito.
"Gusto ko munang taposin yung pag aaral ko dito bago ako pumunta doon." I said covering my face with my hands.
"Kausapin mo kasi sila dad" Kuya edward said. At lumapit sa akin. "C'mon let's talk to them" he added. At dinala ako papunta sakanila.
Nung nakababa na kami nag tungo agad kami sa sala kung saan naka upo sila dad. "Dad, she's here" Kuya ed said.
"Are you ready to talk to us?" Mahinahong tanong ni daddy. Tumango naman ako.
"Why don't you come with us?" She's serious. At patang sasabog na yung puso ko sa kaba. Naka tingin lang ako sa kamay ko.
"Mom, I want to finish my college here" nakita ko kung pano tingnan ni kuya si daddy.
"Mom, just let her be. Susunod naman siya doon if she's done here." Sabi ni kuya at ngumiti sa akin.
"Are you sure you can take care of yourself without us?" Napatingin naman ako kay mommy. "Pau, I'll just stay with her" Nagulat naman ako sa sinabi ni mommy.
"Mom! You need to be there. Dad needs you." Sabi ko. "I can handle myself." I smiled at them.
"You need me more"Mom said. My heart aches
"No, Mom listen dad needs you more than me. You need to be there for daddy" nakakalungkot mang isipin pero kailangan ko talaga munang manatili dito.
"Okay! If that's what you want. After you graduate Edward will get you here. Don't forget to contact us everyday! And if you need anything tell us." Sabi ni daddy na ikinasaya ko. Lumapit ako kay daddy at niyakap siya.
"Thank you so much dad!" I said. Pagkatapos naming mag usap pumasok ulit si kuya sa kwarto ko "Di mo naman kasi kailangang manatili dito" Sabi ni kuya.
"Kailangan ko kuya. I need to make dad and mom proud just like you" I said. Ngumiti sa akin si kuya at niyakap ako.
Room107
Pumasok ako sa classroom at nag hanap ng upuan. Medyo puno na yung classroom kaya I settled myself here at the back. I usually sit in the middle pero wala ng vacant.
"Fia, mabuti naman at may kakilala ako dito" Sabi ni andrea. One of my classmates last sem. Late kasi akong nakapag enroll kaya yung mga schedule na nakuha ko iba sa mga ka klase ko noon. "Yes. Hello" Biting sagot ko.
Andrea is a kind of person na kapag walang makausap doon lang ako kinakausap. May sarili kasi siyang group of friends. We're not friends and we don't usually talk.
And I don't like her.
I have friends naman pero they left me here. Jess and angel transfered to another school. Because their parents wanted it. At wala akong magagawa don.
Kaya kahit na gustuhin ko mang sumunod sakanila, hindi pwede because I dont want to disappoint my parents. And because they left me here, ayaw ko ng maghanap ng bagong kaibigan this is going to be my last semester here. And I'm going to canada.
"Perez?" Napatingin naman ako sa professor namin.
"Yes Sir?" I asked. "I heard that you're transfering to canada" Tanong ni Sir.
"Uh- we decided Sir that I'm going to finish my college here first" Paliwanag ko. Tumango naman siya at ngumiti sa akin. "That's a good decision" he answered.
Bumalik naman ako sa inupuan ko at nagsimula ng mag discuss si sir. He said that he will do the attendance after the discussion to make sure that the students are still in the room. Kasi most of the time habang nag tuturo yung instructor lumalabas na yung iba.
Natapos din agad tung klase ko at sinundo ako ni kuya ed. Pagpasok ko palang nakita ko na agad yung mga luggage nila. Napahinga ako ng malalim. Iniisip ko palang na pag gising ko bukas, mag isa lang akong kumakain.
Umakyat muna ako sa kwarto ko at nag bihis ng pambahay. "Fia" bumukas naman yung pinto ko at pumasok si mommy.
"Mom" I smiled. "Darating bukas si Manang lydia siya muna yung pansamantala mong makakasama dito para may mag aasikaso sayo" Hinawakan ni mommy yung kamay ko. "We will call you everyday."
I hug her. "I will miss you" I whispered.
"Me too. Be a good girl okay?" She said and we both go down stairs.
"We'll go ahead fia. Take care of yourself" Sabi ni daddy. "I will. You too, all of you" I said. Dad hugged me and planted a kiss on my forehead.
"Fia, just text me okay?" Kuya said and shuffles my hair. "Oh! Ayan ka na naman eh" reklamo ko. "I know you'll gonna miss me when I'm gone" biro niya.
"Whatever! send my regards to ate lexie" Sabi ko. "I will" he smiled. At sumakay na sila sa sasakyan.
"See you soon fam!" I whispered.
