I was in history when she texted me again.

Good luck putting your precious drawing back together, loser.

I sighed, pocketing my phone. I was trying not to let her get to me anymore. I had Hayley now. I had to stay strong for her.

Lunch time came around pretty quickly and I couldn't wait to see Hayley and tell Lana and Marina about our date.

But someone else sat in my seat today.

"Oh uh...hi?"

"Oh Ashley! This is Lauren! She's one of our other friends, she was away for a few days though" Hayley introduced me to the brunette.

"Hello Ashley" she said

"Hi!" I grabbed a stool nearby and sat down beside the girls and lunch continued as normal.

I was kinda sad I didn't get to talk about my date. Lauren had been out of state and the others asked her all about it. I wasn't really listening; I didn't really care.

"Hey Ashley?" Hayley walked to my locker with me.

"Mmh?"

"You okay?"

I nodded "I'm fine"

She hugged me and kissed me softly "Wanna meet at the café after school?"

"I'd love to" I smiled.
