The week went by so quickly and I barely saw Melanie at all. She's even stopped making me give her my money.

I think she's finally left me alone because now, I have friends to protect me.

For the week, I only saw her in the hallways and in history, English and math classes. However, I felt her eyes burning into the back of my skull, making me uncomfortable. But she didn't speak to me at all and for once I let go and I was happy.

At lunch that Friday, Hayley and I told Lana and Marina about our date last Saturday and they squealed and asked for details. We told them everything and we told them we were going out again the next day.

They were more excited than we were and it was funny.

I couldn't wait until the date. I walked out of school and finished the school week, happy.
