Chapter 6

Katniss' POV
Peeta and I both pull away, and smile like dorks at each other, just looking into each other's eyes.

Reality hits me, and I really hope no one saw. People will no longer look at me as the queen bee, but instead of the girl who basically made out with a loser. I really like Peeta so I don't want to say things like 'this was a mistake' so instead I just tell him

"I'll see you around." I say softly.

"Yeah" he says looking a little shocked.

I quickly run to the girls bathroom, then I text the girls to come quickly.

Katniss: Girls come quick, I really screwed up this time.😰

Clove: what did you do this time🙄

Delly: Be right there!😕

Annie: coming.😝😞

About 2 minutes later they all show up in the girls restroom.

"Guys I'm freaking out! How could I be so stupid! I knew it was a bad idea! And I actually liked it! Oh God I'm de-"I get cut off by clove.

"Katniss! Calm down,"she says calmly, "why are you stupid? What was a bad idea? And what did you like?

I look down at my feet biting my lip, they are all waiting for words so I give in.

"Well... I.... uh... maybe sort of... kind of... kissedpeetatheoneeveryonecallsaloser." I say very quickly.

"What? Slow down." Delly tells me.

"I.......kissed.......Pe-" then Annie cuts me off.

"Ok just talk normally." She says with anticipation.

"Ok fine," I frown "I was in the nurses office waiting for Peeta, and then we kissed." I say slightly embarrassed.

Their jaw drops and then they all say in perfect unison.

"YOU DID WHAT?!?!?"

"I don't know what took over me, it just happened. But the worst part is.... I actually liked it." I frown

I don't know what to do anymore.
