You groaned— what a headache— and rolled over... right onto someone's shoulder.

Dan.

His curly hair was mussed like a hurricane had passed through.

The top two buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned.

Shit. What the hell happened?!

But then you realised that you were on the floor, back against Dan and Phil's couch, and six other persons were arranged around you, minus Lou, who slept on the couch.

Perks of being the pregnant woman, I guess.

Dan's eyes opened slowly, black lashes fluttering. He smiled at you.

"G'morning, sunshine".

"Good morning, idiot", you ruffled his hair and he grimaced on cue.

"Hey", he complained, "I called you sunshine and all I get is idiot?"

You grinned. "That's because I'm your sunshine, you beautiful idiot".

"Awh, I get beautiful, now?"

"Shut up, gorgeous", you rolled your eyes at him. He just smiled, making you think of kissing that smile.

What?! Noooo...

"What are you two talking about?" Phil mumbled, although the question was muffled by the pillow his face was pressed into, so it rather sounded like he was saying, whampt ar ou to twalkming aboupt?

"Stop snogging the cushion and say that again, Phil", Dan quipped with a smirk.

Phil sighed, but before he could repeat himself, Louise interrupted,

"What are you guys talking about?"

Phil gestured to Lou with a nod.

"Oh", you said, "just how cute Dodie and Eileen look cuddled together".

Sure enough, the two were curled around each other, fingers tangled.

"Awwww", Evan whispered, now awake as well.

"Shippety ship ship shipppp", Dan said, now that all five of you were staring.

"Yo, stop gawking and tell us what the fuck happened last night because I drank too much", Eileen said, squinting at the sunlight drifting through the un-closed blinds.

You rubbed your eyes as Dan massaged his temples.

"I think we all drank too much", he mumbled and you nodded. "Phil?"

The older boy shook his head, "No, I didn't drink that much and neither did Lou, of course, but we weren't around you guys all the time, y'know. You kinda went off on your own".

"Yeah", Louise agreed, "except for the fact that Dodie decided to sing to Eileen via stage and then Eileen snogged her, I didn't get much else".

A little yawn was stiffled from Eileen's side of the room.

"Morning", Dodie twittered, attempting to push static, brown waves from her face. Eileen brushed them away for her with a tender smile that made you want to go awwww.

"Thank you, love", Dodie mumbled to Eileen, pecking the latter's cheek.

Phil did go, "Awwww".

Dodie looked up innocently whilst Eileen sighed at being the centre of attention.

Your hangover pounded a jagged rock against your skull; you squinted in pain.

"Y/N?" Dan laid his hand on your shoulder and over the hammering inside your head, you could only hear his voice, the chatter of the others dulled and bland in your pained ears. "Come on", he tugged you from the ground, "pain killers and water— lots of water— that'll do the trick".
