*3 Months Later*

Wrapped up so consumed by all this hurt

Tears fell down my face as I listened to the lyrics of Jess Glynne. Every time I hear this song I think of Emily. No matter what I went through, she was always there for me. Even in situations where the other girls were against me. She was always in my corner. She was my safe place to land. Now that I don't have that I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest. I have officially lost my most loyal friend and ruined the possibility of something more. I know that it's my fault that I'm in this situation.
Over these 3 months I've tried dating but it didn't work out. Maybe after how I treated Emily I'm meant to be alone.
My phone rings and I answer without checking to see whose calling.
"Hello.." I say
"Hey Ali." Spencer said
"Hey Spence"
"You've gotta get out the house."
"I'm fine." I responded dryly. I'm not fine but I also don't want to be around anyone right now. Anyone but Em.
"No, you're not Ali. You can't fool me. We're family. How about you come over later? We can watch movies. Aria and Hanna are supposed to come to."
"Oh, the two people that hate me?" I asked in a confused tone
"They don't hate you, Ali. They're just mad right now."
"You know what, sure I'll come over. I had a feeling if I turned you down again you would most likely come over and drag me out of the house."
"Wow, you know me so well. I'll see you around 7." Spencer said while laughing.
I hung up the phone and looked at the time. It was already 6. Wow, Spencer - way to give a girl time to get ready. I got out of bed and went to take a shower. After I was dressed I grabbed my house keys and walked out of the door and headed to Spencer's.
