Emily's POV
To say I was confused would be an understatement. I looked at Ali and her face mirrored mine. Aria was a wreck but she was finally starting to calm down.
"What happened between you and Ezra?" Ali asked.
"He went out with an old friend from college. Turns out that she was his ex that he almost married, which he didn't tell me. He kissed her. He fucking kissed her, then said it was a mistake and it meant nothing. How the hell do you kiss someone by accident?"
I opened my mouth to say something but I was at a loss for words so I just closed it.
"I'm calling the girls." Ali said as she got up from the couch.
"No!" Ali stopped in her tracks and looked back at Aria. "Please just not yet."
"If you need some time to yourself feel free to stay in the pool house. Only if you want." I said. Ali sat down next to me.
"I sort of already have my clothes in the trunk. I just didn't want to intrude."
"You're not intruding." Ali spoke up as she reached over and put her hand on Aria's.
"Thank you guys. This means a lot." She said with sad eyes
"No problem." We smiled at her.
"Where's Honor?" She asked as she finally noticed no baby sounds anywhere.
"She's with my mom and dad. They wanted to keep her for sometime this week." I said.
"Oh okay. Is it okay if I go get my suitcases out of the car?"
"Yeah. I'll help you." Ali said getting up with her and walking out of the house. I got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen and grabbed a drink from the fridge. I looked out by the pool and saw Aria hugging Ali. Then Ali started walking toward the house. When she walked in the kitchen she blew out a breath as she looked at me. I took a sip of my Gatorade before speaking. "Is she okay?"
"She's a little better than when she showed up.She's just getting settled in right now." Ali said as she grabbed the bottle out of my hand and started to drink some.
"You know you can just get your own..."
"I'd rather share yours." She said while smiling at me and walked off into the living room. Did she just take my drink? I followed her into the living room and sat next to her on the couch.
"I was thinking that we should go out..." She said while looking over at me.
"You want to go on a date?" I asked she smiles and grabs my cheek.
"I would love to go on a date with you babe. But I was talking about all five of us. We haven't hung out together in awhile, and it might be good for Aria. She could take her mind off things."
"That would be good. When do you want to do this?"
"Well your parents have Honor for a few more days so I was thinking, maybe, the day after tomorrow." I smiled at her and leaned over to kiss her cheek. Before I could kiss her cheek she quickly turned her face so I would kiss her lips. I smiled into the kiss.
"I love you." I said once we finally pulled away from each other. She put her hand on my cheek and smiled. "I love you too."
"So what do you want to cook? Or we could order and I'll go pick it up."
"Let me text Aria to see if she want something." She started texting on her phone. A minute passed by before she looked up. "How do you feel about Chinese?"
"Chinese is good. You already know my favorite so order while I get dressed."
"Okay." She said as she picked up my phone and found the restaurant to order from. I walked in the room and changed out of my shorts and put on some pants with a flannel shirt. I walked out the room and into the living room. She handed me my phone without taking her eyes off the TV.
"They said 45 minutes."she said while looking what was on the tv.
"Okay." I sat next to her and she looked over at me and smirked.
"What are you smirking about?" She got closer to me.
"I love you in flannel." She said as she put her head in the crook of my neck and kissed it.
"I see that." I smiled. She pulled away and straddled me. My hands automatically went to her hips.
"I have to go get the food soon."
"I'm sure you can kiss your fiance for a few minutes. Can't you?" I nodded my head as she lowered her face down to mine.
30 minutes later
I pulled into the restaurant parking lot and got out of the car and walked in. I walked up to the lady.
"How can I help you?"
"Order for Fields ..."
"They are almost finished with your order."
"Okay thank you. I would like to pay for it now if that's okay." I said while taking my card out of my pocket. She nodded her head and I handed her my card.
"Emily?"
I turned around.
