I jolted out of my sleep and immediately raised up into a sitting position. I held a hand over my chest as my heart was racing. I took a few deep breaths to calm down. I contemplated on waking Ali but quickly shook that thought out of my head as I glanced down at her and saw her sleeping. I laid back onto the pillows and tried to go back to sleep, but all I ended up doing was tossing and turning. Ali mumbled something in her sleep as she turned over. I slowly got out of the bed, making sure I didn't wake her and walked into the bathroom. I knew that I couldn't fall back asleep after being woken up like that so I needed to do something that would help me relax. I started the shower, pulled the shirt over my head and stepped in. I started to relax as soon as I felt the water run over my head. I grabbed the loofa and poured some shower gel on it before I started bathing. As I was rinsing my body off for the second time, I felt arms wrap around my waist and a pair a lips kiss my back. I sighed before turning around and looked at Ali as she looked up at me. She smiled a little but I could see she was concerned.
"Why aren't you in bed baby?" She asked as she rubbed her hands down my shoulders. I shook my head.
"Something just woke me up. I don't know what though, but I couldn't fall asleep after that.
"Well, why didn't you wake me up?"
"I just wanted you to get your rest." I said as I looked down. She lifted my chin with two fingers and stared into my eyes , as though she was checking to make sure I was telling the truth. Then she grabbed the back of my neck and kissed me.
"Are you feeling a little better?" She asked when she pulled away from our kiss. I nodded my head and I turned the shower off and we got out. I wrapped a towel around her before wrapping one around myself. I tried to grab a shirt out of the dresser but Ali pulled me toward the bed. "Let's just sleep without." I smiled a little as I looked at her.
"I don't think we'll sleep that much if we don't have clothes on." I said as I put my hands on her hips. She laughed a little before she opened her towel and dropped it on the floor before sitting on the edge of the bed.
"That's the plan. We can sleep after though." She said before she opened my towel and pulled me on top of her and kissed me.
Ali's Pov
I woke up to Honor tapping my arm and saying "Mom" over and over.
"What's wrong baby?" I asked as I looked up at her. She smiled when I raised up and kissed her face.
"I'm hungry." I couldn't help but laugh a little before I ran my hands through my hair. I looked over at the clock and saw it was 7 in the morning. Great only four hours of sleep.
"Alright let's go downstairs so I can make y'all breakfast. Is Addison awake?" I asked awhile I got out of bed and put on some pajama pants. Honor climbed in the bed next to Emily. "Don't wake mama up, she wasn't feeling..." I stopped talking as I turned around and saw Emily awake while Honor was hugging her.
"I tried telling..."
"It's alright Als." She said as she held Honor with one arm and rubbed her face with her free hand.
"Guess what tonight is Mama?" Honor asked as she pulled away from Emily. Emily looked up at the ceiling like she was thinking.
"I don't know Princess. What's tonight?"
"Pizza and Pajama Night! And you said that I can pick my own toppings this time."
"I did say that huh?" Emily asked she started tickling Honor. Honor laughs filled the room as I looked at them and smiled. Another great idea from Emily to make up a pizza and pajama night.
