“Water my flow in in a thousand channels but it all returns to the sea.”

“Hey Cazzie. What are you doing?”, Patty said while looking at what Cazzie is writing.

“Oh I’m writing a story. It’s about true love. After a long time of separation, they still ended up to each other’s arms. It’s about DESTINY.” Cazzie answered shyly.

“Destiny? Are you nuts? Hahaha. Come on Cazzie. We make our own destiny. You’re such  a hopeless romantic girl.”

“Hey. That’s not true. Destiny is real. Bakit pa nagawa ang word na “destiny” in the first place if it’s not real diba?”

Before Patty could answer, Sandy arrived and said, “Hay naku Patty, stop it. You’re just wasting your time arguing with Cazzie. No matter what you say, “Miss Destiny” won’t believe you anyway.”

“Sandy is right Patty,” Cazzie said, “because no matter what you say I will and always will believe in destiny. Because somehow, there’s a hope in my heart that Aaron and I would still end up together.”

“Yeah right, Cazzie. You know what, you’re just wasting your time waiting for Aaron. Come to think of it, you’re thinking of him every minute but have you asked yourself if he thinks of you too even once?” Patty said with disgust.

Cazzie is speechless. Sandy noticed that she is about to cry so she said, “Enough. Bago pa may umiyak why don’t you just pack your things and let’s go home. It’s getting late.”

While on their way, Cazzie is unusually quiet. And when she arrived home, she went straight to her room and stayed there for good. She is lying in her bed while staring blankly at the ceiling, while her favorite song is in the air. She isn’t actually listening to the music. Instead, she was thinking about what had happened a while back. What had Patty told her.

Cassandra Y. Gomez is a brilliant student, a good friend, a very loving and jolly person. Many guys tried to court her but no one succeeded. The reason is, she’s waiting for someone. And that someone is Aaron Aquino.

Aaron was her first love. He was a campus heartthrob when they were in high school, even now that they’re already in college, and that makes things complicated for the two of them. Everyone is against their relationship. So Cazzie then decided to look for someone new. But Cazzie ended up miserable. She still can’t forget Aaron. And when the time comes that she went back to Aaron, it was way too late. He doesn’t love her anymore and decided to stay away from her.

Thinking about the past, Cazzie became so bothered and it really made her cry. With her heart full of regret, she fell asleep crying.

The next morning, Cazzie went to school early. She’s busy writing when Patty and Sandy arrived.

“Oh himala. You came in early.” Patty said full of surprise.

“Yeah. I really intended to come early. You know, I’ve got lot of things to do.” Cazzie answered.

Sandy and Patty sat next to her and tell stories. The two of them are laughing but Cazzie remained quiet. Sandy noticed it and said, “Cazzie are you alright? You’ve been quiet since yesterday. I’m not used to it. You’re supposed to be noisy and jolly!”
