Tails and Knuckles were still sitting on top of the stairs while Sonic walked growling around in front of the stairs. Making sure that Knuckles and Tails don't get down. He always stops walking for a few secs and growled louder at the stairs whenever he heard something.

"Tails what are we doing, we can't go downstairs, Sonic will rip us in pieces." Knuckles said as he saw Sonic downs stairs. "I don't know but at least he isn't coming up the stairs." Tails said relieved that Sonic isn't coming up stairs. "About that, why is he so aggressive towards us?" Knuckles asked, who still can't believe that Sonic would kill them.

"I don't know, maybe we should go and get some sleep. Sonic and Amy can't get out anyway." Tails said and walked away from the stairs and towards his room. "If you say so." Knuckles said but not sure if they should leave Sonic and Amy all by them self. "Don't worry Knuckles, they will be fine." Tails said as he saw Knuckles worried expression.

Meanwhile Eggman was still sitting in front of the screen with Orbot and Cubot behind him while his spy-bot was spying on Sonic and Amy. "Hehe, that's perfect, Sonic's stupid friends aren't going against them ... I can use that as advantage." Eggman said smirking evilly. "Good thinking boss." Cubot said. "So now how am I going to capture Sonic?" Eggman said and started thinking. 

"What about Amy, aren't you catching her?" Cubot asked curious what should happen with Amy. "I have no use for her ... she seemed scared, what should I do with a scared wolf." Eggman said not thinking about capturing Amy. "Maybe she was just a bit scared of Sonic." Orbot said but Eggman wasn't even listening.

"Alright you two idiotic bots ... I think I know how I'll capture him." Eggman said with a grin on his face, sure that he would win this time. "What plan boss?" Cubot asked. "I'll capture Sonic with a net, prepare my net-bot and tomorrow we will go on a little wolf hunt." Eggman said and Orbot and Cubot nodded.

While Sonic was guarding the stairs Amy was walking around in the kitchen. Every time Sonic started growling louder Amy looked towards the door but turned her attention back to sniff around on the kitchen floor. After a while Amy decided to walk out of the kitchen, there she found Sonic sitting in front of the stairs and glaring up trying to find Tails and Knuckles. 

Amy looked at Sonic then followed his gaze up stars, but seeing that there was nobody Amy started walking again. As Amy walked away Sonic turned away from the stairs to see what Amy's up to as she walked into the living room. Sonic looked back at the stairs as he saw where Amy was heading, thinking if he should follow, but he decided to guard the stairs a bit longer, in case the annoying fox and echidna would come back downstairs again.

After like ten minutes Sonic hasn't heard one thing of Knuckles and Tails and he walked away form the stairs, sure that there wasn't anyone near the stairs anymore. He walked into the living room and looked around, trying to find Amy. He found her sleeping up on the couch and he decided to join her. He jumped up on the couch and laid down in front of Amy and placed his head on her neck.

Amy first growled and pushed her head up and Sonic growled softly back. Amy growled again and laid her head back down but as Sonic placed his head above her neck again she jumped up and growled loudly at him. Sonic stood up himself and growled loudly back and Amy then bent her ears back and her growling got softer and after she lowered her head Sonic stopped growling too.

Sonic then laid down on the couch but still with his head up as he watched Amy's movements. Amy slowly got down herself also still with her head up. Sonic then licked Amy's cheek as he saw that she still had her ears bent back. After Sonic licked her cheek a few times Amy moved her head away from his and moved her head down. She then placed her head on top of Sonic's front paws and Sonic moved his head down as well. Sonic's head was once again resting on Amy's neck who didn't mind now and they both fell asleep.

The next morning Tails woke up from the sun, which shone through the window. "Sonic turn the light of." Tails said thinking that it was still night and Sonic once again forgot to turn the light off. "SONIC!" Tails shouted and turned on the other side so he faced the wall instead the window. "Tails stop shouting and if the light bothers you then close the curtains." Knuckles said who laid on the other side of the couch. 

"But I'm tired ... please Knuckles." Tails said with closed eyes. "Not happening, do it your self." Knuckles said who wasn't bothered by the light at all. "Ugh! ... forget it now I'm up." Tails said not thinking that he could fall back to sleep again. "Nice for you, now be quiet I still want to sleep" Knuckles said. 

"You're standing up as well, I'm hungry and I'm not going down there my self." Tails said and pointed towards the stairs. "What, are you scared or something?" Knuckles asked amused and opened his eyes. "N-No." Tails said but Knuckles gave him a 'do not deny it' look. "ugh ... alright fine, I don't want to be ripped apart by an angry Sonic." Tails said and Knuckles snickered. 

"Alright you scared fox, I'll come with you but just because I'm hungry." Knuckles said and stood up. "Thanks" Tails said and the two made their way towards the stairs. The two friends walked down the stairs slowly, trying to make as less noise as possible as they saw that Sonic wasn't anywhere near the stairs.

"Hm weird, I thought he would sleep in front of the stairs just to get us as soon as we come down." Knuckles whispered as they finely were down the stairs. "Be happy that he isn't here or we would be dog food by now." Tails said as he and Knuckles walked into the kitchen. "But seriously where is he and where did Amy go?" Knuckles asked as they were in the kitchen by now without a pink wolf inside. 

"I'm sure she's with Sonic, but before we search for them, let's eat something before Sonic crosses our way. I don't want to be killed with an empty stomach." Tails said and started making a sandwich for him self. "Fine by me ... and since you are making a sandwich, could you make me one too?" Knuckles asked and Tails nodded. "Okay so let's finish breakfast and then let's search for Sonic ... who knows maybe he's back to normal again." Tails said and Knuckles agreed.
